About
ICE PELLETS AND SNOWBALLS
The legendary Snow Bros. series began over 30 years ago. Snow Bros. Wonderland is the newest chapter—and boy, has a lot changed in the last couple of decades! For starters, the graphics aren’t two-dimensional anymore; the new game offers a gorgeous 3D isometric style. Armed with an endless supply of ice pellets, gamers can turn monsters into snowballs, which can be kicked to destroy whole hordes of foes! Attacks can be chained to take down multiple enemies at once, and your snowball skills will be put to the ultimate test against some truly massive bosses. Are you (snow)man enough to defend Snow Land from evil King Atchich?
FOUR TIMES THE FUN
Previously, Snow Bros. was always a two-player game (which makes perfect sense given the name), but this time, the number of players has doubled! Now, you can have up to four players at once, making the adventure even more fun to experience. After all, shared joy is double the joy, and quadrupled joy is even better! Oh, and did you know that you can also customize your snowy avatar with hats, goggles, scarves, and all kinds of fun stuff? Find your own style!
THE HISTORY OF SNOW BROS
The first game in the chilly, snowy Snow Bros. saga was released in 1990, featuring two snowman brothers, Nick and Tom, who rolled snowballs, jumped on platforms, and defeated enemies in a quest to rescue the princesses Puripuri and Puchipuchi. Four years later, the sequel, Snow Bros. 2: With New Elves—a game as quirky and bizarre as it was wonderfully entertaining—was released. But despite the love for the first two Snow Bros. games, we haven’t had a true third entry in the series. Until now.
So, what are you waiting for? Let’s grab some friends and dive into the snowy fun!

You should skip this game, especially if you like to 100% games. The last unlockable requires you to beat 7 bosses in a row without taking damage once, where some of the bosses have attacks that hit random parts of the stage. The game is clearly unfinished as well, the achievements don't always pop up when you fulfill the requirements for them, even buying abilities from the shop asks you if you "want to delete save data". Clearly the devs abandoned this game, they don't care that their achievements are either abhorrently difficult, or glitched.
I have to say, This game is absolutely amazing! This game is such a wonderful (no pun intended) way to bring back a classic IP. The gameplay is amazing, the music had me feel the emotion in each world, the voice acting and character interactions each stage were really fun! I have to say, out of the three Snow Bros titles, this one is 100% my favorite in the series! I was so excited when this game was announced last year, and the wait was worth every second! I can tell the developers have passion for this series, and really care about the Snow Bros. franchise. I can't wait to see where the Snow Bros. go after this title! ^^
I’ve always loved the original Snow Bros, so I was a bit worried about the jump to 3D. Thankfully, Snow Bros Wonderland is a pleasant surprise. It keeps the spirit of the original alive, with all the snowball-throwing action you could want—just in a fresh new format. It’s a fun twist on the classic formula and worth checking out if you enjoyed the original. And if you prefer to stick to 2D, the two Snow Bros remasters are a great alternative.
Now even though this is a not recommended review, let it be known that I think the game itself is...decent. Not horrible, but maybe worth waiting for a sale to check it out. As far as revivals of retro franchises go, it's not nearly in the same realm as notoriously bad franchise revivals such as Bomberman: Act Zero or Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. However, I have to imagine bringing the Snow Bros. into the realm of modern 3D gaming was not an easy task, and boy does it show. At times, it's hard to see where you are or to estimate the physics of the snowballs. Some hazards, such as the lightning in world 5, feel almost random, and make the wind/lightning puzzles of this area a whole lot more frustrating than they need to be. There were elements of the game that I found fun, when the snowballs work for instance it is pretty fun to kick them around and bowl rows of enemies over at once. The abilities feature was interesting as well, and often was able to help me get ahead at levels I was struggling with. I also did like the big boss battles, they were challenging but in a fun way. So all in all, I feel like the building blocks for a 3D Snow Bros. adventure are here, and fundamentally things work, but they maybe need more polish and if we ever saw a sequel to Wonderland, maybe they'd be able to improve upon the flaws of this game. This is also probably more of a personal taste thing, but I don't like how seriously this game tries to take itself. I know gaming has evolved a lot from the simple stories NES games of the past took advantage of and as such Wonderland would have to strive for something more than that, but I don't think it makes much sense to put war and the death of soldiers in a game about funny snowmen. It honestly makes it very hard to take the story seriously, and creates tonal whiplash not seen since 1992's Super Duck.
