こんなの買うやつは昔ゲームセンターでプレイした層なんだし、エミュ移植でも文句は言わないんだろうけどさ。 いやこれ相当酷いなあ。 まず設定が酷いというか「ない」。 音量設定もなければ画面設定もない。 フルスクリーンかウィンドウかだけ。 ただでさえちんまい画面が、プレイ開始するとさらに小さくなるとは予想もつかなかった。 16：9環境で4：3になると左右に余白が……なんてレベルよりさらに小さくなるから困る。 音量設定もないのでOSから弄るしかない。 うちでは「うるせー！」だったが環境次第では「小さい」にもなるらしい。 キーコンフィグもなし。 これエミュそのままはまだしも、設定だけでもどうにかしないと話にならないんじゃないだろうか。 サイコソルジャーやってみたけど、アテナが謎言語で歌い始めた時は頭が真っ白になった。 一々日本語版にしない限り英語版がスタート。 サムライスピリッツでもそうだったなあ……いや設定保存だけで解決する話だぞ？ もともと日本向けじゃないにしても酷いわ。 CSだと日本語版発売さえしていなかった時点でお察しするべきだったわけか。 PS海外版ディスク買うより圧倒的に安いじゃんで飛びついた自分が馬鹿だった。 日本語版はあくまで「いらないだろうけどオリジナル言語版もオマケしときますね」って扱いなんだろうな。 [strike]しかしサイコソルジャーってそのまんまS◯NS◯Nだったなあ。 こうやって丸々真似してライバル気取って、それであんなでっかいビルまで建てたんだからすげーや。 昔2000年の倒産すぐ後辺り、江坂で見た。 まあその後は延々悲惨な生き恥晒す状態で、今も名前残ってはいるものの……な世界だけど。[/strike] 実際はそのレベルにすら到達していないようだが、まんま移植するにしてももうちょっと考えるべきだったなやっぱり。

The SNK 40th anniversary collection is a nice little package of SNK titles spanning a good part of their history. This collections features 24 games in total and features an art gallery and soundtrack playlist for some games. There is also options to play the arcade or console version of some games which is really nice. Overall the quality games here is good featuring some classic games and series like Ikari Warriors, Athena and Crystalis. The games play really well overall and the only real issue I encountered was a weird stick drift that happened once or twice but restarting seemed to fix it. There is a nice mix of action platformers, shmups and arcade games here. Some of the games certainly still hold up today while some not so much but it's always great having these games preserved and if you haven't played some of them it's always great to try another classic. Being a big shmup fan myself I was really happy to see Prehistoric Isle, World Wars, Bermuda Triangle and Chopper 1 present here. Crystalis is also another highlight in this collection and is an incredible JRPG that is definitely worth playing. Athena is also another title that was very popular when released due to the games branching paths and weapon/armor upgrading and I do enjoy this game so it was nice to play through it again. There were also a few games in here that I have never had the chance to play such as Sasuke vs Commander, Ozma wars, Fantasy and Beast Busters. Beast Busters was the only game in this collection that didn't really work too well being a rail shooter, it doesn't play so well in this environment but it is still nice for it to be here for people to try. The package itself features alot of modern features most of these retro packages have like the ability to rewind, save at any time and a watch feature. The extras such as the Museum are great. There is lots of interesting information, screenshots, advertisements and back story to a lot of the games. I always enjoy being able to see some of the original artworks and advertising posters (they were so cool back then) for the games. They do also go in depth with some of the games and the releases for each game and to be honest I wish there was more I really enjoy the history and stories behind titles. The music player is also nice although I doubt I would use it in game but the games are there and you can listen to the music and the always catchy Psycho Soldier song. For those like myself who are achievement hunters this game has a very easy set of achievements. The achievements are all the same there are 14 in total and they all require you to finish certain games. There are no other achievements than that. Luckily most if not all allow for infinite continues so there isn't really a game you can't beat which I like it allows you to enjoy the game without worrying but it does lessen the challenge. For me it took about 5 hours to complete them all as most games are short and I've beaten Crystalis (longest game) many times so I can usually get through it at a good pace. Overall I really enjoyed this package and being a big retro fan I had a good time with this collection and hope we see more like this in the future. 8/10

Excellently presented collection of early S.N.K. arcade titles spanning from 1979 to 1990. The museum is packed with historical information, art and documents. Games that were ported to the NES include those versions. Save states, a rewind feature, unlimited continues and adjustable settings soften the blow of some of the more unforgiving titles. Digital Eclipse does it again!

NEOGEO以前のゲーム詰め合わせがセールで安かったので購入。 懐かしいのとプレイした記憶がないのが混じっているけど詰め合わせだからこんなもの。 セーブと巻き戻し機能があるので根気があればクリアできるはず。 ちょこっと遊んでみた結果はこんな感じ ・アテナ　こんなに難しかったっけ？ゲーセンではワンコインクリアしてたのに ・サイコソルジャー　こんなんだったけ？1Pだけだとあんまり面白くない ・サスケVSコマンダー　懐かしくて面白かった、シンプルなゲームはいいね ・ファンタジー　なんか楽しかった、いろいろ理不尽だけど ・ヴァンガード　なんか楽しかった、シンプルで好き ・オズマウォーズ　駄菓子屋で遊んだ記憶がある 駄菓子屋とかデパート屋上でゲームしていた40～50代にオススメ！

However, it’s disappointing that Baseball Stars for the NES — one of SNK’s most beloved and influential sports titles — wasn’t included in the Steam version, even though it appeared in other releases. It also would’ve been great to see some ADK games added to the mix, though it’s understandable since ADK wasn’t officially part of SNK back in those early days. Still, a few nods to that legacy would’ve made the collection feel even more complete. Even with those omissions, SNK 40th Anniversary Collection remains an outstanding celebration of gaming history. While I do understand the sentimental value for preserving the past, and that SNK and Digital Eclipse have certainly achieved with this release. However most of these games if not all of them have aged pretty poorly.

If you grew up in arcades throughout the 80's and 90's, this nostalgia is for you!
