3D PrintMaster Simulator Printer

I got it 80% off, so I said why not? I'll start by saying, it's not worth the full price, it should be labeled as early access, and it's far from finished. You start with some money to buy components to build a 3D printing machine, then you can build up to 6 machines and upgrade to up to level 5. The problem is, there is no point on upgrading the machines, because you get stuck on a very weird bottleneck. You have to wait for your clients to come and pick up their order and pay you, and they come very slowly. As in, you can have dozens of products ready to go, but you have to wait for each client one at a time, with a period of a couple minutes between them. So having multiple fast machines, just makes this a tedious waiting game. I didn't even get into the bugs, there are lots of them.

Although the game play is clunky, once you get used to it, is not the worst I have seen. HOWEVER, the lack of helping you know what you need to satisfy orders (PLA or FLEX?), indicating which completed order box is for which delivery pickup, and it could be a lot more intuitive. I tried this game for 4 hours to learn more about 3D printers, but will be uninstalling it after this review and uninstalling it until they fix these problems.

[/h2] 3D Print Master avait tout pour plaire sur le papier : monter sa propre imprimante, exécuter des commandes, améliorer son matos… une vraie petite usine maison. Mais à l’usage, c’est surtout une vitrine vide avec de la colle qui déborde. L’ergonomie pique, les collisions sont aux fraises (par moment, les objets traversent murs et tables comme des fantômes), et le gameplay se résume à cliquer, attendre, soupirer et recommencer. Dommage, parce que c’est pas vilain en fait, et on y trouve même de vraies marques d’imprimantes. Y’a bien un soupçon de gestion, mais pas de vrai challenge, ni d’immersion. Juste de l'impression 3D en 3D, molle et creuse. En tant qu’amateur IRL, je retourne à mon atelier… au moins là, ça imprime. Enfin… quand ça veut.

Hello. Video found on Youtube doesn't match what I see in game, no tutorial, tools awkward to use, gameplay sorta awkward. The rotate right or left doesn't do what it meant to do, it spin in odd direction, not in circle as mentioned, making placement difficult. Haven't even started accepting customers orders, let along even get the printer built, beside, printer not even built yet due to awkward controls of placements and tool use functions. Love the gameplay and style. There's room for improvements.

No, I'm no expert at 3d printers or the art of printing itself. But with that said, this game is NOT beginner user friendly. You can pick up objects, but you cant place them on a desk or table, you are forced to drop them on the floor. The "rotation" is only along one axis. The "customer" delays BADLY when picking up an "order" and the "printing" itself is a joke. It waves a few times back and forth and POOF you have a print. Not very "simulator" worthy. Buyer beware

Joa, kann man spielen, wenn man gerade keine Wand in der Nähe hat auf die man schauen kann. Abwechslungsreicher wird es leider nicht.

Assegnare un’insufficienza non è mai piacevole, specialmente in presenza di produzioni con del potenziale tangibile e/o capaci di mettere in campo delle buone idee. Il problema è che per quanto possa apparire interessante e longevo, 3D PrintMaster Simulator risulta fin troppo acerbo e decisamente più adatto a una fase ad accesso anticipato che non a una release diretta (come è avvenuto). Sfortunatamente casi come questo sono tutt’altro che infrequenti, e come se non bastasse il team di Midnight Games, al momento, non ha ancora rilasciato aggiornamenti. Il gameplay di base è potenzialmente divertente e rilassante, ma viene minato da una progressione superficiale e limitata al numero di stampanti migliori da acquistare, e comunque destinate a nuovi prodotti rigorosamente già pronti. Affiancare il tutto a una funzionalità di progettazione, anche open source avrebbe garantito ben altro appeal alla produzione, che invece si riduce interamente al “print & sell”. La nostra speranza è che in futuro le cose possano cambiare, ma al momento non possiamo che sconsigliare l’acquisto del gioco.
