I enjoyed all the puzzles, but kinda hated the final arcade level. It wasn't too hard to figure out, though, and finally beating it gave me quite a bit of satisfaction. I refuse to approach the time-run mode, which forces you to repeat all the levels while the clock is ticking. The game is short and well-put together, has its retro charm. But if you're the type of player who needs to get every single achievement in a game, you should avoid this one. Overall- thumbs up for me! I got my share of thinky-fun for the low price the dev asks.
This game is awesome :D, such a simple idea, but it actually works well, love the art, love the music. Some stages were actually so hard that I had to look up the solution :)

It's an ok to good little puzzle game, a 2D Q-Bert, just walk to the exit with touching each space only once, some can be touched twice in later levels. 30 varied levels with a new mechanic every ten levels. It took me 56 minutes to solve it normaly and has a speedrun mode for the last achievement, for the price of 1.50 it's fine, if it's on sale it's a very good purchase.
really fun little puzzle game w a bangin beat. would happily fork over for dlc w more levels or game modes or w/e ^_^
I love old 1/2/4/8 etc bit games and to find one with retro gameplay was a treat. Love this game!
I really considered putting a negative review. the game is absolutely fine and fun until time attack which is WAY TOO SHORT : ok, you don't "have" to get achievements on the game, but i do like to do them whenever it's possible. i don't like, on the other hand, having to spend 2 hours to remember the exact pattern on the 30 stages to get that freaking achievement, without pausing Game was fun, i consider that it's now a nightmare, not a fun game. Still, it was a thrill to get that achievement, so i do recommand the game, but if you're into achievements be warned it will take some time to get it right At the end of the day, it was worth the money, but you really should consider putting the time attack timer on 310, 320 or 330 seconds, not 300. Or you could have a time attack which consider optimizing the steps, with a timer reset on each stage if you die, so that players could try again I might add that a pause button is a must have in any game. Can't pause for even a second? Even if it's a 5mn timer, that's not cool And we definitely need a restart menu, because i had to ALT+F4 the game a dozen of times while i was trying the time attack achievement
Very good puzzle game. Short but neat mechanics.
What a pleasant bite-sized puzzle game. I'd compare it to a cupcake; the mixture of ingredients is quite exact, thanks to its small size. It's got all the hallmarks of a good puzzle: slow ease in with new mechanics, ramp-up of difficulty, and as soon as you start to get bored it changes things around and gives you a new toy to play. And then it brings everything together for a final exam, and throws in a nice surprise at the end. And to top it all off, the aesthetic is just swell. The dev clearly knows what they're doing, so I'll be sure to see what else they got in store!
Fun little puzzle game. Not very difficult but for the low price definately worth it.
Snake Pit is a charming, short puzzle game with levels perfectly designed to make you feel like an absolute genius. The core mechanics are simple: use directional controls to move, "place" snakes on each walkable tile in a level, and then exit the level at the designated staircase. No additional buttons are used, and the few additional mechanics are introduced sparingly and gently so as not to jar the player. Unlike many puzzle games in this style, you won't really come across any absolute brain-busters here - the difficulty curve is fairly mild and consistent, and taking more than a handful of attempts to beat a level is rare. However, a few levels had me scratching my head for a bit, ultimately giving me a great feeling of accomplishment when I solved them. It's a short game and can easily be beaten in one sitting. The boss battle at the climax was a nice twist, however. I'd love to see an update with some additional levels at some point! Definitely worth the couple bucks it costs.
