Snake Pass

Muy buen juego, pero mi esposa no quiere verme jugar porque no entiende lo divertido que es ser una serpiente. Lástima por ella.

Either the learning curve for movement is steep, or it's just difficult. Either way, eventually I hit a point in the game where level difficulty went way up, and retrying meant retrying from a bit too far back. It was simply not fun anymore, and it felt kind of... slow-paced even before that. The game definitely has its charm, and I applaud the developers for trying out something different. Perhaps if you're a better player at the game than I am, it might be fun for you, but it didn't end up being fun for me.

Snake Pass is probably my favourite puzzle platformer ever. It certainly proves that a jump button has always been overrated

Lembro de ter comprado esse jogo há muito tempo por causa de um vídeo que eu vi do BRKsEDU. Joguei um pouco, parei. Nesses últimos dias eu baixei ele de novo para relembrar e ver como o jogo estava. Resumindo, os gráficos são realmente bons, a ideia do jogo é boa e dá pra passar algumas horinhas aí se divertindo. O problema é que, à medida que o jogo vai avançando, essa diversão vai se transformando em frustração, pois, principalmente nas duas últimas fases, o jogo vai ficando MUITO mais difícil e alguns problemas que pareciam menores no começo começam a incomodar bastante. São duas coisas: a câmera do jogo é ruim e às vezes vai dando uns zooms esquisitos e entrando nas pedras em momentos muito críticos da gameplay, isso pq tem um monte de pedra que só atrapalha, pois é cenário. Outro problema são os controles, que não são tão precisos assim. Uma vez li um comentário que dizia muito sobre esse problema: “é como se eu soubesse exatamente o que tinha que fazer, mas não conseguisse executar” e isso é muito frustrante e realmente acontece demais. Assim, o jogo não é ruim, mas também não é bom. Deixo como avaliação positiva, mas com ressalvas! Eu joguei e me diverti um pouco, mas não compraria de novo.

game is nice

Very, very cool movement, lukewarm everything else. It's genuinely the first platformer for a long time that gave me awesome challenge, not just a 'new difficult game comes out, guess I'll beat it', but something unique to learn. Difficulty not from precision, speed, or hordes of enemies, but from fun, innovative movement. Great time!

Despite its colourful and bubbly exterior. This is not an accessible casual experience. Learning the controls is like learning a musical instrument, slow and even frustrating at first. But it is worth the struggle, this game is extremely satisfying once you get good, I've never played anything quite like it. Definitely a unique and severely underrated 3D platformer. I wish there were more games willing to take risks on interesting control schemes like this.
