Simple and fun snake game. Great for kids!

I don't play many games here and I certainly haven't reviewed any, but I felt compelled to write something about this game after seeing a couple of bad reviews. This game does have a lot of similarities to slither.io, but there are a few things that set this game apart. First, my five-year old daughter loves it. She's the one who plays this game the most. She has so much fun sorting through the different snake and hat options. She plays on the adventure mode and likes to have her snake "meet" the other snakes there, which is possible since snake collisions aren't a thing in that mode. She likes racing the other snakes to the food and always laughs when she sees a butterfly, mongoose, or other random spawning thing. She searches for the door and moves onto the next level. Second, the music is surprisingly good. I don't mind having to hear this game as she plays it because the music is relatively chill and each song is long enough that the loops aren't annoyingly repetitive. I don't know if the music is original or not, but I like it. Third, the little things. I chuckled the first time I saw the pop culture references in the snake and hat options, and I appreciate seeing different ground textures for each level. The ground textures don't do much to change the game, but they're still nice. That's it, I think. TL;DR - My kid loves it, the music is good.

Snake-A-Roni is a barebones ripoff of the arcade classic, Snake/Tron. The only major difference is there's three game modes. A classical mode, a versus mode, and a competitive mode where players can't harm each other but must grow as big as possible then leave the arena. As a multiplayer focused game this is dead, there's no players, because it's a cheap Snake ripoff. Who would have thought nobody would want to play such a game. It's presented in a fairly lazy, minimalist way. Resolution and controls are locked, which also pushes the game below minimum acceptable standards for PC. This is free, but then so are at least another 8,000 games on Steam. I can't recommend this one.
