Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Long ago, hungry monsters threatened to consume the world, until their appetites were sated - with delicious food! But now their numbers have grown, and there are more orders than we can keep up with…
Joining the kitchen brigade at the request of the Head Chef, you must build and run new cooking factories to keep feeding the beasts. Gather ingredients, set up food production lines, and craft gourmet meals inspired by cuisines from all over the world, each made to meet some very particular tastes.
As you travel across the islands to uncover what’s really stirring the beasts’ appetites, you’ll come across new foods, new rules, and unexpected complications that test how well your systems really work. Can you turn the tide of the hungry beasts, while proving your status as a Witchelin Star chef?
- Level-based factory simulation in a 2D platforming setting
- Mass-produce delicious meals through automated cooking machines
- Over 55 levels across 6 islands, with difficult challenges and modes to unlock
- Handle complex ingredients, dairy, allergens, spicy foods, food poisoning and more
- Modding support, plus create and share custom levels to challenge your fellow chefs
- Experience all the stress of managing a restaurant without any of the pay!
Take orders from hungry beasts, and create multiple delicious courses - each with tastes, quirks, and intolerances. Meet their demands to stop the island from, well… becoming lunch.
Design automated kitchens using mixers, ovens, boilers, fryers, sorters, pipes, and more.
Every ingredient is a system; manage timing, contamination, allergens, spoilage and other quirks as production grows.
Dairy curdles with heat, nuts spread allergens, meat carries food poisoning and dough rises over time. Learn the rules, exploit them, and build factories that won’t implode... probably.
Every island introduces new core ingredients, mechanics, hazards, and layouts.
Unlock new dishes, solve strange local problems, build the factories needed to keep the beasts from causing trouble.
Turn simple recipes into sprawling networks of pipes and machines.
Control overpowering ingredients to avoid contamination, prevent curdled catastrophes and keep your production flowing under pressure.
Use void-powered machines, infused liquids, steam-based cooking, indigestion relief for spicy dishes, layered dessert conveyor belts and more as you push into stranger territory.

I'm a sucker, I see a game that ends in "io" and I buy it immediately. I would compare this far less to factor"io" and more to the types of factory games found on itch".io". If you are looking for Factorio, this is not it. If you are looking for Satisfactory, Dyson Sphere Program, Shapez (1+2), Alchemy Factory, etc. This is not it. But, this game does stand on its own amid a sea of factory games and I'm enjoying it. If I had to compare the core loop it's similar to Mindustry (without enemies) but in a Terraria-like engine. A key consideration for this game is that it plays very much like a puzzle game, you get a series of levels and have to design factories to feed monsters, then it's on to the next arena, starting from scratch each level. It's similar to Railgrade in that regard. The levels are adequately paced for beginners, each level builds on the knowledge of the previous level, but can feel quite tedious for genre veterans. I appreciate that the dev didn't commit the cardinal sin of factory games and included easy ways to make sure your factory is running optimally at correct ratios, the ratios aren't obfuscated or hidden as they are in other factory games. It's very polished. Starting with the good: The art direction and in game explanations are exceptional. There is a lot of high quality art direction that you simply don't spend much time with, i.e. the illustrations of the imps in the machines. You can tell the dev cared about making a polished game with a story and a plot. Including a campaign that you move through level by level, solving problems, uncovering mystery, with a few funny sci-fi and cooking nerd easter eggs thrown in. It's a beautiful intersection of many things I love. (imagine Escoffier cooking with the spice melange.) This game was made for me, and I appreciate it. The bad: The beginning of the game is heavily, heavily tedious. Game mechanics are introduced at a snails pace. The first island and most of the second is repetitious, almost mind numbingly so. Though that is partially my fault as a factory game veteran for my tendency to overbuild factories, stressing myself to make 100 dishes per minute at perfect ratio when I literally only needed 10. If you focus on the mission objective without losing yourself foodmaxxing, then the pacing flows much better. I do recommend this game, with a caveat that veterans just move through the beginning islands as quickly as possible. The third island is where the game starts opening up and gives you real challenges to solve. It is here where I write this review. I do think it's a better game design choice to hold the players hand, as not everyone is 1000spm megabase brained, but I had to chug through this to get to the part where I'm enjoying it.

Pretty good game, consider buying unless you get hungry easily (Sadly me)
Delightfully fun little automation game. I'm really enjoying the relaxed vibe.
Reminds old 2012-ish buildcraft and industrialcraft. Great game!

My brain has turned to mush. I exist to feed those greater than me.
Feed the beast factorio. One of the best :D
Chill yet complex automation factory building puzzle game. Addictive and makes you spend hours trying to build the perfect production line to feed each beasts. Starts simple and became more complex later on. Dev is super active and listens to feedback and fixing bugs quickly too! Love it!
