Da Capo 3 R

Where to begin... Da Capo 3 R is giving me the same vibes I had when I discovered the first one long ago, and wanting more and getting my hands on the second one. A vibe that makes me very nostolgic and very happy of what's to come, and to expect things to turn into more than just the ecchiness or moeness for long. You don't have to play the original 2 or any of the side stories at all to join in this one. There will be references to past ones, but never enough to make you feel left out. The story does enough to drag you into Hatsune Island, giving a nod to old timers like me as well. It does use a few tracks from the previous ones, which I don't mind, but I feel a bit odd when I think about it, but that's just me. Try it out, I'll probably go back to edit once I've played enough of this to give a more thorough review, but if you're new to this series and want to try it out, this is good. If you're a returnee who has been waiting for 4-5 years to get their hands on a translated copy, now's your chance.

[b]- I finished the game from mangagamer, I buy it in STEAM to show my support. My hour game time in STEAM does not reflect my actual playtime -[/b] I've been waiting for Da Capo 3 English for so long, I can't express how happy I am when it finally is here. I'm a big fan of Da Capo, and I played almost all versions (as long as it is in English). Da Capo 3 R is an all-age version, and I don't mind it at all. The upside for all Da Capo is not the 18+ scene, but the very intricate story that always makes me memerized with the game from start to finish. If you enjoyed a Visual Novel like those of "Key" company, then I highly recommended playing Da Capo, because I guaranteed you that this will not dissapointed you. You do not need to play the previous Da Capo to able to enjoy the game. But I'm certain if you never played other Da Capo before--by the time you finished with this one, you will wanted to play Da Capo 1 and 2.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G For all that it is, Da Capo III R is one of the best Visual Novels I have ever read. It surprised me a lot. In a great way. Never thought I would be so interested in the story and wanting to know what was going to happen. It goes beyond that. It’s touching, sweet, beautiful, funny, sad and heartwarming. The main story consists of: - Prologue - Weather Vane [4 routes that can be played in any order] - Zero [Opens only after you have played the 4 possible routes] - Da Capo Plus 5 Side Episodes: - Ultimate Battle of their First/Fated Encounter! [spoiler]Long. Events happen before Weather Vane.[/spoiler] - Hinomoto Aoi [spoiler]Long. A different time loop as the 4 routes in the main story. Is connected to a few things that have been said in one of the routes.[/spoiler] - Gojouin Tomoe [spoiler]Really short. Wanted a romantic route for Tomoe and Kiyotaka.[/spoiler] - Elizabeth [spoiler]Really short. Weird/Amusing. Wanted more. Would like to see Elizabeth and Kiyotaka as a couple.[/spoiler] - Ultimate Battle in the Cherry Blossom Breeze! [spoiler]Long. Kind of a continuation of the main story.[/spoiler] They are unlocked by events in the main story and can be played in any order. [spoiler]I do suggest you play Ultimate Battle in the Cherry Blossom Breeze! last though.[/spoiler] Favorite route: [spoiler]Charles[/spoiler] Favorite character: [spoiler]Tomoe[/spoiler] I loved the story. It made me want more. More answers. [spoiler]What became of Aoi? Did she met her demise? And how so? Who did Kiyotaka end up with, both in the past and in the present? Did Himeno and Kiyotaka found a solution for her curse? How is Sakura related to Kiyotaka? What became of all of them? It even made me desire for an ending where all 5 of the girls end up with Kiyotaka and share him.[/spoiler] Hope they make Da Capo 4 in the future and give me the answers I long for. It also made me want to play both previous games and I will surely buy them in the future. The game is very beautiful, plus the voices are perfect for the characters. They are all very likeable. Even the soundtrack is perfect. Da Capo III R is the whole deal. Steam version does not include the adult content though. On that note, the X-Rated version not only adds adult scenes. More than that if felt like it shows a deeper glimpse on their feelings toward each other and how strong they are. X-Rated version can be bought on the Publisher's web page. I strongly recommend this game for all VN lovers. 10/10

One of best novel i ever read well the reason i like Da capo bcz i already played the previous series but if you never played the previous series you can play da capo 3 without worry too if you already played the previous series then that is the main reason you need to buy this series , i'm sure you will not regret it <3~

De Capo 3 R has a lot of heart, but it’s too long, way too long. Look at the number of hours played and consider that I resorted to skipping and speed reading for parts that were just dragging on too long. This feels like they were under some contractual obligation to make the longest VN possible- you’re easily looking at 80-90+ hours if you don’t skip any voice work and complete all the content. There are some good themes, enjoyable characters, and fun dialogue. The game does slice of life really well, with pleasant artwork and music. The game splits into multiple routes depending on your choices- some are compelling and foreshadow the true ending, and others are padding. The setting is a little different from your typical Japanese VN, being set in a magic school in London. Not quite Harry Potter-esque but some may find it a refreshing change of pace. There are some bigger plot twists, but even when things turn serious, the ratio is still about 90% slice of life. I think it could have been a brilliant story with some better editing. As it is, you’re certainly getting a lot of bang for the buck but you’ve got to be seriously committed to see things through to the finale. Tentative recommendation but not for everyone.

[h1]樱花绽放时，赴那约定处，共赏繁芳景[/h1] 作为《初音岛》系列的第三部正统续作，[b]《Da Capo 3 R（D.C.3 R）》[/b]由[b]CRICUS（马戏团社）[/b]于2013年5月24日推出。本作的制作可谓十分豪华，音乐一直都是马戏团社擅长的领域，OP数量多达六首，甚至还有全动画演出，质量极高，BGM与剧情氛围搭配得近乎完美；美术方面，原画工作依旧由御用画师たにはらなつき负责，鷹乃ゆき的加入则让整体画风更加现代化与萌系化。总体而言，本作在视听层面表现出色，体验极佳 与前两作相比，本作的可攻略角色大幅减少仅有五人，许多塑造得立体而富有魅力的角色无法攻略，属实遗憾。但虽然可攻略角色减少了，剧情篇幅却没有缩水，个人线的分量反而更足。由于开场时女主的好感度直接拉满，反倒给人一种“被女主攻略”的错觉[spoiler]（本作依旧存在“剧情锁”，必须先攻略完其余四人后，才能进入“葵”线）[/spoiler]。在通关结局后，回收开头并串联起三部曲，令人叹为观止（如果是没有接触过前作的玩家可能会一头雾水，建议先游玩第二部了解大概剧情） [b]《D.C.3 R》[/b]在人物塑造、音乐表现和剧情内容上都展现了系列应有的底子，虽然部分细节缺乏打磨，但瑕不掩瑜，初音岛的故事依旧值得你走入 永不凋谢的樱花树，永不完结的初音岛。转眼间，《初音岛》系列已陪伴玩家走过了23个年头。如今，系列首作的重制版[b]《D.C. Translators made a BIG mistake translating Sharuru (or Sharlulu) as "Charles" and deriving Lulu from Charles doesn't work. Now I can't finish reading it. Thank-you for ruining a perfectly good visual novel. Charlene, Sharla; anything but Charles! How can anyone NOT be annoyed by this? I also couldn't get the patch to work.
