Smoots Pinball

While it doesn't have the bells and whistles of the major pinball titles and I don't know what Smoots are; this is a very playable pinball. Works well on laptop with a bunch of easy achievements, although getting them all takes effort. Overall I enjoyed it although once I'm done I doubt I will return to it. At the time of this review it is on sale, definitely worth it.

Muy entretenido y liviano juego de pinball. Bueno, bonito y barato, así que merece la pena entrarle para disfrutarlo unas cuentas horitas. Corre bien sin placa de video, por lo tanto es ideal para jugarlo con la laptop en el laburo.

Juego desenfadado y entretenido donde puedes jugar en 5 escenarios con cinemáticas dentro y fuera del Pinball. Gráficos agradables, pinballs no sobrecargados de elementos y mecánicas sencillas. Personalmente, me gusta que la acción del golpe en el pinball (acción limitada, como siempre) te ayude bastante a sobrevivir la bola actual.

Nunca fui tan popular como para acercarme a esa zona, así que mi conocimiento de los flippers se limitó durante muchos años al Epic Pinball. En el cual he de decir que, aunque invertía muchas horas, nunca fui nada hábil. Programado por Kaneda Games y de mano de los siempre certeros Jandusoft, llega Smoots Pinball para recordarme que nunca he sido popular y que sigo teniendo menos reflejos que una piedra pómez. Además es una serie de juegos creados por la gente de Kaneda en la que repasan diferentes deportes. De esta forma, si buscamos en Steam tenemos Smoots de Atletismo, Golf y Tenis. A estos hay que sumarle un Smoots Zombies para VR. Esto os lo cuento, a parte de para hacer un poco de publicidad a este pequeño estudio de Gavá, porque en Smoots Pinball existen seis mesas diferentes en las que jugar, una por cada uno de sus anteriores títulos y otra de baseball. Lo que me hace suponer que en breve podremos disfrutar de un Smoots Baseball. Insert Coin El juego en sí en un simulador de pinball que hará las delicias de los aficionados del género por la excelente recreación de sus físicas. Se trata de un juego rápido que pone a prueba tus reflejos y puntería a la hora de golpear la bola. Justo pero exigente, ya que no suele conceder segundas oportunidades, si le das al botón un poco más tarde de lo debido la canica caerá por el foso y perderás una vida. Por otra parte si consigues que la bola se cuele por los diferentes loopins veras surgir animaciones en el lateral de la mesa. Así si acertamos en determinados lugares en la fase de atletismo surgirán deportistas efectuando un salto de longitud o una carrera de cien metros lisos o si estamos en la mesa zombi veremos surgir murciélagos o relámpagos. En general todas las fases están llenas de efectos especiales y pequeños detalles que animan la partida. Por otra parte Smoots Pinball cuenta con multitud de coleccionables que desbloquear: melodías, ilustraciones y objetos 3D que forman parte de las diferentes mesas. Según vayamos jugando y completando diferentes retos estos regalos irán apareciendo en el menú correspondiente, con lo cual nos mantendrá entretenidos durante mucho tiempo. Si además nos picamos a hacer más puntos con hasta otros tres amigos la diversión puede alargarse infinitamente. Resumiendo Smoots Pinball es un pequeño programa que podemos adquirir por poco menos de cinco euros y que dará horas de diversión a aquellos que disfruten de este tipo de juegos. Lo único que se echa de menos es poder cambiar la cámara para poder ver con mayor detalle cada uno de los elementos que pueblan sus fases. Smoots Pinball es para ti si: Eres un amante de los pinball dispuesto en todo momento a darle golpes a una bola. Conservas intactos tus reflejos y puntería. Eras uno de esos malotes que pululaban por la parte oscura de los recreativos. No te convencerá si: No te gustan los pinball. He disfrutado empujando cada una de las tablas hasta que me han pitado falta gracias al código de prensa suministrado por Jandusoft.
