I have the dev's other tools! If you like this I recommend checking them out! Pixel FX Designer and Juice FX are really awesome. I've only just scratched the surface of what these tools can do! In a really simple way they automate animation jobs that would take many hours (or possibly days) to animate, often only needing a single image to get the job done, this isn't gonna replace every single use of Pixel Art or bone based animation, in fact I recommend alongside this two other pieces of software: Aseprite for pixeling, or Affinity Designer if you prefer vector, and using the dev's tools to add juice and polish to the assets you create in those. I would have bought this earlier if I had realized it was out on steam, I saw the dev's twitter post about the itch launch and somehow missed it on steam (I don't buy tools on itch ATM, not because I want the dev to get less of a cut, it's just simpler for me to manage a steam library on my 4 PCs/laptops)
Great app, works as intended with excellent results. Hope the app is further developed, i will try and use it in production. Thank you! Wishlist: -reset values to default button -just enter values when mouse over, no pop up on right click. -preset saving and loading -ship with typical presets like spinning or teleport in/teleport out, bounce etc. to show off app and save time. -option for no outline -end frame preview -need at least 1 middle keyframe to create squash and stretch/compound animations (examples show compound animations, how?) -be able to set rows and columns and automatically size sprite sheet like Unity3D does. -imported spritesheet, sprite not centered. -PSD importing as static sprite.

I bought this as part of a game development bundle to cut down on the time it takes me to animate in Aseprite it does the job well.
Kept crashing when I tried to render my project, and the region of where to click was under the visual bar/point itself, making it odd to alter what happens to the sprites. It's a good idea, but it just won't let me actually utilize it. Hoping it fixes itself soon, and will edit this if it does get fixed and if I re-get it, as I just gave up after the 5th attempt to render, and refunded it because it couldn't do anything I needed it for.
An excellent tool, but I still wish I have an acess to export options, trimmed sprites change all my workflow and thats not that good for me or my team.
On the right side panel i can't the multiple stack of graphs like in the picture, in only see on field at a time.
It's an extremely disappointing and limited tool. It exports the sprite only in sprite-sheet and every exported GIF receives a size 4x larger than the original. and no, you cannot choose which size to export. Sometimes the program also crashes in the middle of the project and you lose progress. It's not like it takes a long time to develop the animation in the software, but it's terrible having to do it all over again. There is one small thing that always irritates me about this program is that it has some bars for you to drag and select the animation movement value, but if you move this bar from the center, you cannot leave it in the center again just by dragging, you need to click on the bar and select the average value manually every time. And finally, it's horrible to mess with the tool's settings, because it's either bugged, or limited, or has a terrible setup (like selecting the sprite size when importing the art). The idea of the tool is very good, but the software itself was very poorly designed. it is not optimized, it gives glitches that can compromise the project, and in terms of capacity it is extremely limited.
There are some important things that need to be improved: 1. You should implement a preset feature to save parameters so we can paste it onto mirrored animations of sprites. 2. Allowing the OS system to open the SFXP files with Smear FX by default. 3. Being able to replace the imported sprite sheet with a different spritesheet. Overall, this is a very quick and effective way to add flare to your combat animations for your animated sprites. 8/10
