Hi! This is Raditz, one of the creators behind Slumbering Feline. My team and I are thrilled to announce this new game, blending a short story collection with unique gameplay elements.
In Slumbering Feline, we've introduced a scan or shutter-style combat system, where you attack enemies in a distinctive, non-traditional way. Although this is a one-shot story, we hope to continue building on its world in future installments.
We’re excited to share this experience with you and bring together everything we've learned over the years. We hope you enjoy playing Slumbering Feline as much as we enjoyed creating it!
Slumbering Feline was honored as a Nominee in Indonesia Game Awards 2025

Good art and cute character, but very difficult on the "normal" settings preset, no possibility to deal damage without the weakness points, which bugs sometimes and disappears at all. And boring as hell.
Curto e simples. Espero que façam novos mapas.
casual game with a little bit of puzzle, pretty interesting to play for a while, nice!

terrible game. subtitles are wrong with bad translation. controls are a mess. cant change them. it says hold rt to enter aim and release to shoot but instead it moves you to the right. the only way to enter aim and shoot is with a but you have to aim with the right joystick. kinda hard to aim and attack with just your right thumb. when you move you turn away from the enemy so it makes it even harder to walk backwards aim and shoot so you basically can only stand still to attack. enemies have floating things that move around them. thats the only thing you can attack that actually damages them. its a wand you attack with and theres about a second delay before you can attack again. each enemy takes about 7 hits and theres multiple enemies, some that shoot back at you that you can parry which does nothing but destroy the bullet. theres no counter attack and it doesnt reflect back. by the time you kill 1 enemy and are about to kill the next, the first enemy respawns. theres no jump so you cant just jump past them and if you run through them they just damage you. this is on steam deck so maybe its better on pc. even at free i cant recommend.
This game has an interesting concept, but like a few of the other reviewers, I had mixed feelings towards its execution. As a result, I can't bring myself to give it a positive recommendation. The visual style is fine and works well with the kind of atmosphere the game is trying to create. The sound design is decent enough too. Where the game falls down, in my opinion, is the combat mechanics. They feel like they need to be better balanced - there's a cooldown between your attacks, which is fine (a lot of games have this) but the problem then comes in with the fact that A) enemies respawn a short while after you defeat them, and B) even with power-ups, your attacks sometimes feel like they just don't inflict sufficient damage fast enough sometimes to avoid being mauled. As a result, I found it a bit frustrating and couldn't bring myself to finish the game. Granted, I'm not a pro; to be frankly honest I can be a bumbling idiot. But I stand by my comments in this case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfZNM5HyU1g
The concept is really good and has a lot of potential! However, the gameplay feels a bit too slow at the moment, and there are many aspects that could still be improved. Keep it up! You’re on the right track. I hope you can learn from this experience to make your next games even better. Looking forward to seeing your future updates and projects!
Cute game! Nice gritty art, sountrack is excellent! Frustrating as hell though with no jump - You either manage to time a block while getting shot at (while trying to attack), or you eat it in the face. Gonna give it another shot, but make the enemies wet TP difficulty. hahaha.
Free games can be bad. Really bad. This one is just... disappointing. Movement is slow and tedious, very un-feline-like. Did you ever see a cat that can't jump? Combat is really clunky. You must shoot targets that float around your enemies, and oftentimes the targets disappear so you die because you're trapped and the enemy touches and damages you. The art is too noisy, it's hard to tell what you can interact with. This was solved with some huge interaction signs, but you need to actually move next to the mysterious location to trigger the interaction sign, which makes the game last longer and feel even more boring. At least it seems very short, I trudged along for 15 minutes (restarted twice before finding the save spot) and already got 40% of the achievements.
