Hi! This is Raditz, one of the creators behind Slumbering Feline. My team and I are thrilled to announce this new game, blending a short story collection with unique gameplay elements.
In Slumbering Feline, we've introduced a scan or shutter-style combat system, where you attack enemies in a distinctive, non-traditional way. Although this is a one-shot story, we hope to continue building on its world in future installments.
We’re excited to share this experience with you and bring together everything we've learned over the years. We hope you enjoy playing Slumbering Feline as much as we enjoyed creating it!
Slumbering Feline was honored as a Nominee in Indonesia Game Awards 2025

Interesting unique game mechanic, we need to aim the fires instead of the monster and we need to wait for it to respawn to hit it again until the monster's HP is zero. So, It's like a wait and see game. And for the game world, it's a bit confusing to map, but that's okay since it's in a strange dream anyway. In summary, it's a challenging puzzle game developed by an indie studio.
This game offers an enjoyable experience with smooth gameplay. The graphics are attractive and the sound design make it more immersive. It easy to learn but still challenging. overall it is a fun game.
A fun albeit flawed game that is frustrating at default difficulty but redeems itself by having assist options. I tried as i do with any game to first attempt the intended difficulty but as I was banging my head against the wall at a certain part for more than 15 minutes i decided to lower the difficulty. Spungey enemies, clunky controls and especially respawning foes made it rather difficult so i'm glad i lowered the numbers a bit. Doing that made the game much more enjoyable and fun even, especially due to the exploration. On lower difficulty the clunky combat doesn't hinder the exploration of this small map. It's a little microcosm metroidvania world with some beautiful pixel art and devious spike pits. Seeing the cool and thoughtfull pixel art was definately the driving force for me to play this game as the presentation is quite striking. The music though was just alright, nothing special, a bit monotenous even, however the writing was pretty cringe inducing. Expect dialogue filled with things like 'nya' and other anime/furry terms that made me gag a little bit, the grammar and spelling is also all over the place. If you can stand the cringe though it's a fun enough game that's free and shouldn't take you more than an hour.
