About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.

I got the Good Ending. I am so eternally Happy.
the art is so peak
Play it. Again and again.
(inglese) A masterpiece—I only played it for 68 minutes. It breaks the fourth wall in an incredible way; I’d love to explain why, but anyone who had the same achievements I did will know exactly what I mean. For that matter, I didn't expect a narrative game to hold my attention for an hour, since it’s not usually my genre, but this is a hidden indie gem.
Slay The Princess is a game I'm likely to never forget. Not a life changing game, but its storytelling, artstyle and overall vibe are perfect. The game opens the first time with a simple quest for the player: slaying a princess. But as you progress on your quest, something feels off. Why would an innocent princess be chained in the basement of a random cabin? That's the first question you as both the player and main character will ask to yourself. But not the last. And as you progress, more and more questions and mysteries are going to surface in your mind. But enough talking about the lore, I do not want to spoil anything else, beside STP has way more qualities: - The voice acting is fantastic, each characters and
the different iterations of the princess
sound awesome. There's so much life and personality put into their voices - Good monochrome artstyle that isn't afraid to show colors when needed or to accentuate grotesque scenes - atmospheric and beautiful soundtrack - due to being a visual novel, there isn't any difficulty. Only choices but do not be afraid to make what seems like wrong ones. You may be surprised by the outcome - really short game, only at 4h and got more than 50% of the achievements! - Clear inspirations from
body and lovecraftian
horror. It's not your average psychological horror game, it goes way deeper than that.
