About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.
What’s in the Pristine Cut?

Expansions to familiar routes. The Den, The Apotheosis and The Fury each have each more than doubled in length.
Over 35% more content overall—and all of it filled with great opportunities to listen to me and do your job.
A new ending. And hopefully one that saves the world rather than damns it.
I don't usually like visual novels as I've always had a stigma of them being corny and poorly made. Slay the Princess however absolutely blew me away. It's a true roller coaster of emotions, one second you are laughing, the next you are crying and then you are livid. The games just absolutely fantastic in all aspects it tries to excel at. The art is amazing, its disgusting and/or beautiful when it needs to be, the music is really spot on and elevates the atmosphere, the writing is top tier and it truly makes you think. The voice acting is genuinely amazing, I never felt the need to skip through a dialogue quickly because of how well the actors convey the emotions and intensity of the dialogue. Games also surprisingly beefy in terms of content, I got a solid 25 hours of content from it which I did not expect. I will forever remember the experience this game gave me, you must try it out even if you aren't a visual novel person!
looks kinda cringe but i like games with a quattuordecillion endings and routes and where you can be a total dicknip so good enough for me
Started the game not expecting much, having seen it a couple times previously here and there, but the decisions/story was extremely captivating. Would definitely buy again!
Excelente y hermoso juego, nada mas que decir.
Nah, I'd slay.
You are on your computer in your room. And on your computer lies the steam store. And in the steam store lies Slay The Princess. You must play Slay The Princess. Jokes aside, Slay The Princess is truly one of those games that sticks with you after playing, one that delves into the nuance in the protagonist's choices, their relationships, and their feelings (and, subsequently, ours). I loved experiencing each of the different routes, chapters, and endings (which there are a lot of, so have fun!) which made for a unique experience each time. If you like emotion packed, branching path stories then you have to give this one few minutes of your time.
good game
slay the princess of a beautiful story of love and triumph over fear and mistrust . it astounds me just how many versions of the princess you can meet and how they all weave together to tell such a touching tale . i love the characters and their depth , and the art style is so unique and pretty ! the hand drawn look really adds to the feel of the game as a whole . i plan to 100% all of the achievements ^^
damsel and prisoner ❤️❤️❤️❤️
