You're here to slay the princess. Don't believe her lies.

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts

About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.
What’s in the Pristine Cut?
3 brand new chapters replete with mysteries—and consequences.
Expansions to familiar routes. The Den, The Apotheosis and The Fury each have each more than doubled in length.
Over 35% more content overall—and all of it filled with great opportunities to listen to me and do your job.
A new ending. And hopefully one that saves the world rather than damns it.
Track Your Progress: Cherish your memories, relive your exploits, and uncover deeply hidden secrets with the new gallery feature.
Over 1,200 New Hand-Penciled Frames hand-illustrated by Abby Howard.
Over 2,500 New Lines of Dialogue fully voiced dialogue by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.

Es uno de esos jugos donde, cuanto más crees saber, más rápido te das cuenta de que no entiendes nada; para después acabar lamentando comprenderlo.
May not have the playtime to show it but this is a genuine masterpiece. Words cannot describe how much I loved the story. What lacks in gameplay makes up for in brilliant story writing and overall experience. I've only played one ending so far and i can confidently say that this is one of the best games I have ever played. The art is brilliant, the story telling is abysmal levels of genius, and the message is so dynamic and complex that it's practically impossible to make heads or tails of the actual message. I say that in a good way because there is no right or wrong ending. All endings have their own paths and reasonings behind them. Its up to the player to decide how to perceive both themselves and the princess. I love this concept. I'm tired of games that claim to be "story games" but have weak or extremely linear pathways. This is why Slay the Princess is such a unique and interesting game. The game doesn't tell you what to do, it doesn't explain what is right or wrong, it just lets the player decide from their heart. I'm not even kidding when I say this, the game actually opened up a lot of perspective into myself. I've always struggled with self identity and knowing who I truly am. But this game both taught me about myself, and reacted with multiple character dialogues along with it. I have no regrets purchasing this game. I believe I've genuinely grown both as a person and myself while playing this game. I learned a lot about myself and the game really had me thinking about "What would I do if I was in this situation?". Overall 10/10, if you love story games, I 100% recommend this game.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

La historia me ha consumido por completo (en el buen sentido). Es una obra de arte. Acompañada a esta, también lo es su (valga la redundancia) arte. Me encantan los juegos de tomar decisiones, y este es más que eso, es arte.

Dispatch and Disco Elysium if the objective of those games was to murder Invisigal while the voices in your head piss off british Kim Kitsuragi
"Bring me more perspectives, so that I may be whole, and perhaps then we'll know our freedom" the entire game is just pure peak. it seeks your perspectives, asses them, and brings you to see the most extreme destructive impacts of your decisons. that made me rethink a lot about my sense of morality.
Maybe I just didn't stick with it long enough, but I got incredibly bored very quickly, due to the game's
Groundhog Day-like
nature. I didn't care about either of the characters or their various iterations; I just wanted to stabby stab and have done with it. I guess if you like repetitive, unsettling visual novels, go for it? It just wasn't for me.
ohhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyy godddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd the princess. ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Eery and dark. At times, insightful & profound, other times creepy & funny in a cheeky/witty way especially the 'voices' (only way I could describe it haha). I enjoyed the Long Quiet segments a lot 1. because the art in these parts was incredible (all of the art in this game is hand drawn with pencil!) but 2. because there were sooo many really profound quotes. For a game that seems like a silly little horror game (especially when you first boot it up and encounter the princess etc.), this game holds a lot of depth. I'm also not finished with it because it has so many different endings & achievements to unlock and I want to eat up every part of it.
Que pedazo obra de arte, uno de los mejores juegos que he jugado este año.
