You're here to slay the princess. Don't believe her lies.

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.
What’s in the Pristine Cut?
3 brand new chapters replete with mysteries—and consequences.
Expansions to familiar routes. The Den, The Apotheosis and The Fury each have each more than doubled in length.
Over 35% more content overall—and all of it filled with great opportunities to listen to me and do your job.
A new ending. And hopefully one that saves the world rather than damns it.
Track Your Progress: Cherish your memories, relive your exploits, and uncover deeply hidden secrets with the new gallery feature.

Reviews
太晦涩了。感觉整部游戏一直在抛观点,却很少真正给出结论。为了哲学而哲学吗?与其这样,我不如去看《荷马史诗》。
Amazing dialogue, amazing plot, amazing art, amazing voice acting, amazing plotwists, amazing endings - it's such a beautifully crafted game made to perfection. So many routes that I have no idea how to continue getting all the achievements... there's like 100+.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game if i could giv one peice of advice dont look upcliterally anything just play it blind you wont regret it
Just so comprehensive and subtle in how every little interaction cascades into a wide chain of consequences until everything converges and you face the consequences of your actions. It's beautifully drawn, voice acted, written, and I'm only 3 hours in and got "the good ending": holding hands as they go out together. But as this game reminds us, there are no endings.
So much more intense and engaging than I could've expected.
This is a weird, beautiful game that feels like a f-ed up groundhog day. Small, seemingly unimportant decisions in the 1st chapter lead to grotesque, abstract and massive changes in whatever 2nd chapter you get. It's incredibly fun to slightly tweak your decisions and see how they impact the world around you. Different chapters are not dragging, there are many dialogue options to choose from. When you're done with a story, you immediately want to try a different approach and see the consequences. I had lots of fun looking for all the vessels. There are only two voiceactors, but their range is amazing. Art is top-notch, princess designs are simply amazing and really creative. QoL is also great. You can save whenever you want, there are tons of save slots, you can fast-forward dialogues you've already heard, you can access your "memories" to check what else there is to discover together with some hints. It makes the game really convenient to play. About the story as a whole:
When it comes to the grand reveal of who you are, who is the narrator, who is the princess, what is this place... it's really convoluted. I think some people might be put off by the whole thing feeling like a game of chess between two god-like entities/echoes. it's... okay, but not amazing. For me definitely the core of the game is looking for branching realities and princess iterations, and the overarching narrative feels like an excuse to do exactly that. It ties everything together, but it's not anything mindblowing I'd say.
Overall: fun game, great art with tons of creative designs, lots of branching paths. To me, this game is not about revealing some grand story, it's about having as much fun with this twisted groundhog day as you can, enjoying the unexpected consequences of your actions and "collecting" different princess variations.
An amazing story that others must experience! A relaxing, interesting, and entertaining game!
