About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.

SHEEEEEESH
Resist your betters.
The beauty of Slay the Princess is that it encapsulates so many things. It is a game about perspective, and so whatever interpretation you bring to it is valid, accepted, welcomed. If you believe the words “This is a love story.”, it is a love story. If you focus on the trustworthiness of its characters, it is a game about trust. If you engage with your ability to choose, it is about the choices you make. It is life and death, it is everything and nothing, it is a mirror that reveals what is meaningful to you. It accepts every decision, every viewpoint, as a unique and true story. Everyone who plays it is writing their song together with the game, and when all is done it asks you to reflect, and to take a piece of it with you. What you choose to see becomes your truth. Your experiences shape how you interact with the world, what you construct your beliefs out of. Slay the Princess, like no other game I know, lives in concert with how you view it. It exemplifies the saying “interpretation is generative”. And so it asks, I ask, we ask: What do you make of it?
This was definitely an experience, after getting all of the achievements, all I can say is that I would recommend this game to anyone without a second thought.
You're on a path in the woods. And at the end of that path, is a cabin. And in that cabin is a princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world. Except, that's not the full story, is it? If you make the wrong choices, everything goes black, and you die. You're on a path in the woods. And at the end of that path, is a bin. And in that cabin is a princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't it will be the end of the world. Did you time travel? Nope. So, what happened? That's for you to find out. So, go play the game, go down all the different branches, and maybe... just maybe... you'll realize THAT THIS GAME IS PEAK :D
Esplendid game, full of interesting choices with a magical touch of the unknown.
Hra má super začátek, kdy nevíte, o co jde - trochu repetetivní střed, kdy musíte odehrát několik cyklů zabíjení princezny, aby se odemknul konec - a pak až zase zajímavý konec s fajn metaforickým přesahem do života a vztahů.
Absolute peakest visual novel to ever spin the block. Every single scene is drawn with so much heart & the game itself really keeps you questioning your place in its world. BUY! BUY! BUY IT!
