About
Sky Realm Idle is a Xianxia RPG that blends deep strategic theory-crafting with laid-back idle progression.
Cultivation here is more than just leveling up; it's about mastering the "Spirit Array" and the laws of the Five Elements. Gather resources, manage your estate, forge artifacts, and refine pills. Ascend from a mere mortal to an immortal legend.

Master the elemental cycle (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth) and the opposing forces of Light and Dark.
Combat features an automatic turn-based system where characters automatically unleash Skills and Charge Attacks. Optimize your team composition to exploit elemental weaknesses for massive damage, or withstand the enemy's Overdrive onslaught. Facing a tough challenge? Switch to Manual Mode to time your skills perfectly and secure victory!
Say goodbye to mindless power creep. Your strength comes from the "Spirit Array" (Grid) System.
Collect and upgrade hundreds of unique artifacts to fill your 12 grid slots. Each artifact carries unique skills (e.g., Might, Critical, Enmity). Building the perfect grid to counter your enemy's element is the key to victory.
Cultivation isn't just about fighting; it's about resource management.
Gathering: Dispatch labor to forests and mines to gather Spirit Wood and Star Iron.
Spirit Garden: Plant rare herbs, the essential ingredients for Tribulation pills.
Alchemy & Forging: Refine pills personally or forge legendary weapons.
Manager System: Recruited companions fight for you, but they can also manage your buildings to boost production efficiency.
In Sky Realm Idle, even a common R-rarity character can defy destiny and ascend to SSR or even UR quality through the "Tribulation" system!
Gather materials, refine pills, and help your companions break through their limits to unlock powerful skills. There are no useless cards, only untapped potential.

Built-in powerful Modding Tools.
Easily create your own characters, artifacts, enemies, or even write new story events. Share your creations via Steam Workshop or download mods from other cultivators to expand your world infinitely.

I really want to like it more but it's frustrating. You need to build a mono team of every type. Not just the 3 heroes need to be fire but the cards need to be level 100 and rarity uncapped and then refined. So you have to constantly hunt down where a fire crystal is to uncap the card rarity but it only counts for fire. Then you do it for water which is on a different level etc. Conquer all that and that's the first half of the game. Now you need to farm refining essense. This allows your cards to get stronger. Currently I can farm 20 a day which means I can upgrade 1 card out of 12 for that mono set I'll use fire as an example again(hopefully there is a percentage chance it fails) to Level 20 and then the next day I can do the next card but that's just the fire set you are upgrading. You now need to upgrade all the other element team cards. It's the same game over and over and over but with a different elements you need to level up. There is something here for sure it's fun at first but get's boring fast with the low drop rates.
A really solid idle, incremental auto battler with a cultivation theme. A lot of the terms and concepts seem to be based on Granblue Fantasy so familiarity with that game might help you a lot, though the community for Sky Realm has been very friendly and helpful. Overall, one of my favourite idle games so far. + Simple tutorial, easy to read UI and systems that are easy to understand as they all feel quite nicely to each other. Tooltips have recently been added which has helped with some of the terms and there are suggestions in the Discord about a wiki or something similar. + The community is quite good over on Discord. People are willing and happy to help and there’s a lot of discussion on team composition, balance, suggestions and feedback, and other things. + All element teams seem viable though I haven’t run all of them. The developer seems to be working on more balance updates so I’m looking forward to seeing how that goes. + All characters are viable, even the R ones as you can increase their rarity through Tribulation. Often times, an initially R rarity character is more viable than an initial SSR rarity character. This is always appreciated as it makes for interesting team compositions. + The achievements are focused on only Tier 1 of Adventure. There are currently 3 Tiers. That means you don’t truly have to go to the (current) endgame of True Realm Queen Mother to get all achievements on Steam. = It has generative AI images but this seems to mostly be the backgrounds. It’s also toggleable so you can just remove the AI image package from the mod manager. - Gacha element can be a real wall to your progression because UR pulls include both the character (which you only need one of) and their associated weapon. Weapons of UR characters are important to your array so you need good luck to pull them many many times. At least the gacha currency is farmable but I would really appreciate a pity system. - There is offline progression but this does not include combat. Meaning you cannot farm drops offline, only the production of your estate. This feels a bit weird to me for an idle game, especially one that operates on drop chances. Played and completed as part of my 2026 Achievement Hunt. Completionist perspective: 🟢 You won’t have trouble getting 100% especially now that Achievements are fixed
Melvor but no clutter and a "gacha" game but you get ♥♥♥♥ in games
A week ago I would have given it a positive review however a recent patch has caused many bugs to be added to the game, I have lost my entire team of lvl 100 UR characters which was the breaking point, the second worst part was that achievements broke so I am sitting at 38/39. I will come back in half a year to see if it's possible to unlock that final achievement but for now I am done and cannot recommend this game even though it is quite enjoyable and worth the price. Edit: This was a rage review from bug after bug after bug but if I am being completely honest this game deserves a positive review especially for the price, I got 70h of fun out of a $10 game. As such I am changing my negative review to positive. Still I would like to see it be possible to get that last achievement one day.
Simple but well design game, if you're looking for a few slack off moment from work, this is the way
