This game had some potential, but the developer hasn't mentioned anything in over 2 years. This is abandoned.
For now, i give it a down. It has super tons of potential. It could be like R6/Dota if it has more planes. maps, and gamemodes. As of now, it feels abandoned. Maybe i was too late to the party.
This is a good game, but there are a few things you need to be aware of before buying. First off, it is in early access despite the last update being in 2021. Technically it hasn't been completely abandoned, but don't buy it unless you are happy to play in the current state. The biggest issue that I have, is that it requires a persistent online connection to progress. And the connection can be a bit unstable at times. So if the connection drops, you'll be instantly dropped out of your session. It's all the more puzzling given that there isn't that much of an online community, so I really wish that the developer would let progress carry into offline mode as well. This is the only reason I refunded. Had it not been for that, this would be a big thumbs up for me, because the game itself is really great!
One of Steam's Hidden Gems
...and also one you don't bother waiting for a sale on! A superb arcade flight combat sim with light progression tactics that excels in its tiny arena combat format. From the opening menu with Top Gun'ish soundtrack getting you into the mood, to that explosive joy of finally making it through the radar scanners, AAA, and enemy flight patrols to blow up a base target, to the intense satisfaction of coming out top from a dogfight... ...this tight addition to your Steam Library will constantly keep a smile on your face. Pick it up for 10mins sessions or plow in for a grind to unlock a cooler skin. You can even challenge yourself through the err...challenges...to get unique plane variants.

While the game is a PvPE format, you can create matches purely PvE and customise your and the enemy teams bots.
The PvP is not overwhelmingly populated, but there are always matches to join.
Matches are filled with (customisable) bots that are very competent when not enough players around.
With a number of maps, plane and loadout options, your tactics vary from pure air defence, to interception and interdiction to mixed roles or pure ground assault.
The format is relatively straightfforward, with 3 bases for each side in front of their airfields used for upgrades, refueling, re-arming and repairing. Upgrades can be bought in any order for all 3 of your plane choices hot swappable on landing, and paid for by your activity in match. The bases are defended by AI ground units, just as your own AI ground units progress towards the enemies base (if they make it!). The primary source of upgrade income is blowing up these AI ground units, with bonuses for shooting down enemy jet aircraft of which there are only 4 per side (AI and/or Player). While defending your own AI denies the enemy upgrades it also furthers base attacks which you can help with bombs.
A really fun, tight experience, with a marginal learning curve.

For more reviews and rantings, march over to my Curator Page, The Imaginings of a Gamer|

I am a 45 yo mother, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single Mother to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my husband had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

Sometimes everyone needs a break from the realism of games such as Ace Combat and Microsoft Flight Simulator, and this game fulfilled that need. It is a easy to play top-down game, where you play as either the NATO or the Warsaw Pact. The objective of every mission is to destroy three enemy bases, either directly with bombs, or through friendly tanks. It is heaps of fun, and is worth a try, so go ahead and download.
Very fun to pew pew air to air, easy to handle at first but hard to master, I recommend playing the game and finding a nice player to teach you some more advanced maneuvres (AND DO THE TIME RACES TO HAVE ALL PLANES). Although the content is quite limited, still very fun to play and 10/10 would recommend.
What a cool game. Even playing against bots is fun. The dev stated via Discord, that he paused the work on this game due to his family life (he became a father), but will continue the work in the future.
So much fun, but there's very few people playing online and it seems to be abandoned and not developed for some time. It may be EA, but I think it's actually DOA. I'd recommend for the fun blasting around, but can't due to no substance beyond playing against AI bots. So sad.
