Sky Creator

Its a nice and easy to use software, but the exporting doesnt work, so its basically useless. I would recommend it but I cant because its not fully functional. I also dont like that the developer doesnt respont at all... Unfortunately i can't recommend it right now.

Ein super effektives Programm zu einem unverschämt günstigen Preis! Weil: Es spart viele Stunden Bastelei, wenn man einen vernünftigen Himmel kreieren will. Also jedem Indie-Entwickler, Comiczeichner, Grafiker etc. sei dieses Tool wärmstens empfohlen. Hier noch einige nützliche Infos: -Himmel kann auch als Screenshot gespeichert werden für 2D oder 2,5D Games. -Im Post Process Menü kann die Farbe, Kontrast, Brightness, Saturation, etc. geändert werden. Also sind auch AlienplanetenHimmel möglich! (Sehr geil!) -Sonne und Mond werden direkt über XYZ gesteuert -Nachthimmel mit Sternen ist auch möglich. -Eine wirklich große Vielfalt an Schieberegler erlaubt unzählige Skyambients aus 6 Standartpresets. -Mega einfach zu bedienen und schnell zu erlernen -Sachen wie Fog sind auch drin Was ich mir persönlich noch wünschen würde wäre eine Aurora Borealis (Nordlichter) und Blitze! Ein für mich persönlich super günstiges und praktisches Tool was mir locker bei meinem aktuellen Gameprojekt unzählige Stunden erspart. Natürlich kann man die Skys auch direkt mit bzw. in Blender erstellen. Aber da Blender so universal ist, braucht es dort mit Nodes und Co. viel mehr Einarbeitungszeit. Daher besser mit dem Programm hier erstellen und dann importieren! ;) Von mir gibt es eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung und ein Dankeschön an die Entwickler!

doesnt export properly, dont buy until problem is fixed

IT IS TOOL, NOT A TOY :( If you expected Cloud gardens or Townscaper, you're wrong(also I). Can't export with png or jpg, only TGA or EXR. It means you need Photoshop or GIMP. And, WHY I CANT ADJUSTMENT SCREENSHOT RESOLUTION WITH KEYBOARD, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Ну такое шота. Видео снимать низя, картинки высырает в tga , горизонт передвинуть нельзя, прозрачность убрать низя. Не рыба не мясо. А ну и кнопка "снимок" абсолютно нечего не делает. Камеру повернули, в небо посмотрели. Нажали експорт и получили изображение в стиле фишай. Ну а в целом генератор как генератор 3.5/5

I like Sky Creator. This review is mainly a memo to myself that others might have use for. My workflow to create an HDRI map from Sky Creator: 1. Go to Settings [F4]. 2. Click the [...] and select a folder. Click save as ".EXR" or ".TGA". 3. Click [Export...] - It will save to the last folder and format chosen in the Settings menu. 4. In Photoshop; import image and the alpha channel data as "alpha-channel", not layer. 5. Create a circle selection around the sun. 6. Sample the color of the sun. Increase intensity of that color to about 14. 7. Fill the circle selection with the current color that you just changed the intensity of. 8. Delete alpha channel and flatten. 9. Save as .EXR for a 3D application.

An awesome tool to quickly make customizable skyboxes! I'd gladly recommend it for all your skybox needs! If I could request a feature, I'd like if the sun texture was able to be disabled, while keeping it's light source.
