Sköllorn is a fast-paced, minimalist RTS where the map itself is your weapon. Sever supply lanes, forge new fronts, and wield one of five asymmetric commander doctrines across procedurally generated galaxies. Solo or up to 8-player skirmishes — no two wars are ever the same.

About
Sköllorn is a minimalist, fast-paced real-time strategy game played on a galaxy of stars connected by lanes. Stars generate fleets automatically. Fleets only travel along the connections you control. There are no harvesters, no tech trees, no build orders — just your commander's doctrine, your chosen abilities, and the split-second decisions that decide who owns the void.
Choose a commander. Build a loadout of universal abilities. Then carve, link, sever, fortify, and overwhelm your opponents across procedurally generated galaxies until every other faction collapses against your might.
Up to 8 players. PvP, PvPvE, or co-op PvE. Asymmetric commanders mean every matchup is a different puzzle — a different game, really — and every match is a chance to see what new combinations of doctrines can do to a galaxy. Play with friends, drop into matches with randoms, or take on the AI solo.

Each Commander brings unique progression, passives, and a game-changing ultimate ability that fundamentally reshapes how you approach the galaxy.
Captain Miller — The Warden
A defensive powerhouse. Fortify your empire with Bastions and project localized SHIELDs over critical chokepoints to outlast the swarm. Your orders are to hold the line — and damn it, you will see it done.
Captain Emerald — The Conqueror
Relentless and aggressive. Trade defense for blistering fleet speed and crack entire clusters open with devastating NOVA detonations. Don't stop expanding. Take it all.
Quartermaster Alice — The Architect
A master of logistics. Chain linked Forges into self-reinforcing supply networks and stockpile a reserve no enemy can match. Hunker down, build up, then bury your foe in numbers.
Colonel Nyirs — The Voidwalker
Unbound by standard space lanes. Exploit Warp nodes and use the WARP ability to teleport massive armies across the map, striking where the enemy is thinnest and severing their lifelines from impossible angles.
Architect Revna — The Weaver
A patient strategist who weaves the galaxy itself into a single fabric. Stitch CONDUITs between your allied stars to permanently bind them into a shared unit pool — strength flowing freely from one end of your empire to the other. Her homeworld awakens as a Nexus, and her conduit pools run deeper than anyone else's. The web takes time. The web is unbreakable.
Win or lose, every battle earns you XP. Each Commander has a 10-level skill tree of permanent, account-wide upgrades — passive buffs, reduced cooldowns, and evolved abilities that twist their signature ultimate into something new. Customizing your loadout before the match begins is as important as the battle itself.
Toggle a deep set of modifiers to reshape every round.
Upgradable Stars unlock runaway production and fleet throughput.
Fog of War blacks out everything beyond your borders.
Home World turns starting planets into win-or-lose objectives.
Shifting Hyperlanes redraws the map mid-battle.
…and more. Every modifier dramatically changes how the game is played — and what kind of commander you'll need to be to win it.
The battlefield is a web of celestial nodes, each generating fleets to feed your war machine. You cannot attack anywhere — you can only fight along the lanes that bind one star to another. Every map is procedurally generated, with topologies ranging from tight Grids and chaotic Scatter fields to sprawling Spirals, so the shape of every war is different.
But the web is not fixed.
Alongside your commander's signature ultimate, you bring two universal abilities drawn from a shared pool — your loadout for the match. They reshape the galaxy, supercharge your empire, and tear holes in the enemy's plan.
Reshape the Map
LINK — Forge a new lane between two distant stars to open a fresh front.
CUT — Sever an enemy lane to isolate clusters and starve their supply.
Empower Your Empire
BOOST — Instantly drop reinforcements onto an allied star.
BASTION — Convert an allied star into an entrenched fortress.
OVERDRIVE — Surge a star's production for a short, brutal window.
RECALL — Pull surplus units from across your empire to a single star.
Disrupt Your Enemy
FLARE — Strike an enemy or neutral star, vaporizing units on impact.
STASIS — Freeze an enemy star, locking down its output for ten seconds.
SIPHON — Divert half of an enemy star's production straight into your own.
MAGNETIZE — Force hostile fleets to direct to a specific star.
Build a fortress empire of Bastions. Snake a fragile tendril of supply at the enemy homeworld. Cut their backline and watch their armies starve. The map is yours to break.

Bought the game to support a fantastic person on X and YT. The music itself is amazing, hopefully there is a soundtrack available for purchase later. As for the game, it takes time to learn the mechanics, I myself am mostly a FPS player, but strategy wise, it is like chess, you must plan ahead and use different abilities to take over and dismantle the enemy team. Love the little artworks by the way. I will put more time into this, casually of course.
Pros: - Overall a very simple game but one that is easy to get into - Tutorial is easy to understand and follow - Each commander feels balanced for what they do and using them feels rewarding as you level them up - Even a lost is rewarding as it gives you EXP Con: - The Snowball effect is real, once your behind its nearly impossible to catch back up - You don't start over your Homeworld which if you struggle with colors can take precious seconds to find it. Note: Have yet to play against others and only Normal Difficulty vs computers so your experience may vary. Will update this as I play more and slowly master the game.
Any time I lose track of time, that's how I know it's a good game. Nice tutorial and different abilities to use. You can cut back on the number of enemies and stars in the beginning, level up a bit, then ramp them up as you get better. The victories feel great and I find myself going back for more. I can see myself easily racking up many more hours exploring more of the commanders, abilities, and modes. Enter the Skollorn and conquer your way to mastery!
Games with scalable variables means you can find the balance of max reward to easiest setting. In this case, at the time of this review, Unfair, 3 AI, max stars. Or Hard, 3 Ai, max stars if it keeps putting you in dumb positions. The difference in XP is like... 238 points or some odd number like that so you're not missing much if you need to scale back. The XP is mostly tied to star count, because if you add a 4th AI or more, you'll find it stops increasing the earn pool. I was in part achievement hunting and wanted to speed that all up so... if you want to play in a more typical fashion, disregard that info. :P Most of the achievements seem to unlock the more you play and progress so it's nothing to worry about. Except maybe the multiplayer stalemate one. I lucked out and found and met my match pretty early into owning the game. Most of the time I have played, multiplayer is pretty barren. That being said, played a few rounds with the dev when I first got this title. They wiped the floor with me naturally. lol Multiplayer is admittedly a bit more fun than singleplayer (when you can find a match) as the AI tend to split themselves into functioning members of wartime or just sit there and let you gobble them up. This was the case no matter how many I added or the difficulty I set. A small number would literally maybe take over 3 stars and then just sit there while most of the other AI would start conquering. So um yeah! It's a pretty solid little game. They recently added a new strategist and I can't help but to think, Is Miller the leader of this war mongering harem? He is the only male after all. Front and center even! :P
Simple system and easy to navigate. Good way to kill time.
love the game, Emerald is fun as ♥♥♥♥ you can speed blitz anything with enough prep
Good game nothing complex to learn and for 6 bucks is a nice game to just sit and play
SImple but fun game, the active abilities come in a wide range from really simple immediate bonuses to abilities that focus on building infrastructure. Commanders have clear identities and strategies in how they can be played, but after a certain level their abilities do unlock to be globally available (not passives though). Highly recommend, expecially on sale. Would love to see a more active playerbase
only played 2 matches so far but this is an amazing take on an RTS and node control game. very fun to make the connections and work out which abilities suit your style of play best
Simple but fun. If i have a complaint its that I have yet to figure out how to skip the results screen... which is either on me or there is no way to do it.
