The creator of this game publicly posted remarks that glorify Japanese militarism and fascist aggression, including slogans such as "Restore the Empire of Japan, Long live the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere". The so-called Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere was merely wartime propaganda used by Imperial Japan to justify its invasions and colonial occupation across Asia, which brought massacres, plunder and endless suffering to millions of innocent civilians. This statement deeply hurts the feelings of people from all countries victimized by Japanese militarism. After the incident, the author only gave a perfunctory excuse, claiming it was just a joke shared with friends and that they knew nothing about related history. They never faced up to the historical harm caused by their words, nor offered sincere reflection or apology to the victims of Japan’s wars of aggression. Their attitude is frivolous and shows no remorse. I purchased multiple works from this creator and used to support their creation. However, after witnessing their distorted view of history, I will never spend money on any of their works again. I warn all players to avoid all games made by this author. I would recommend going to the community hub and checking a couple of gameplay videos of the game. It might not be for everyone. I played monochrome sister and was curious about the devs other work. This one was released before monochrome sister, so I was aware that the devs were developing their game making techniques. I bought it in a bundle with monochrome sister to get it at a lower price. The main character looks and acts like Rance. The story seems based on the Rance character, from what I played up to now. I love playing Rance and Evenicle, so I don't have a problem with this one. The game is not going to blow your socks away. It is fun, but the UI is very weird. You don't use mouse, you use the keyboard for everything. I ended up mapping all the keys on a controller. It only takes 10 minutes and it makes everything easier. I also bought this game to give a little of extra support to the Monochrome Sister dev. Just remember, this is not like Monochrome Sister.
