Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a very sweet game with excellent writing
If you enjoy a relaxing game focused on story telling and getting to know charakters this is definetly for you! I had fun following the story of Mrs. Meadows, brewing some tea, learning about said tree and getting to know the different personalitys walking into the tea shop. And you get to also work a little on a poem.
I really enjoyed the game and learned so much about TEA! ( and about myself.. I think)! However, I wasn't prepared for the ending. Playing it again as I write this review to see what the other endings are. :)

Sips and Sonnets is a heartfelt visual novel that blends the coziness of running a countryside tea shop with the quiet beauty of poetry. As Ms. Meadows, a retired journalist, you brew tea, listen to customers’ stories, and craft verses inspired by their lives. While the game radiates warmth and charm, it also carries an undercurrent of deeper themes—touching gently on mental health and memory in a way that feels tender rather than heavy. It’s a thoughtful experience that lingers long after the last poem, perfect for players who love cozy storytelling with an emotional edge.
lovely from start to finish. a game told from the pov of an elderly woman + tea + poetry = my ultimate weakness. the voice acting was phenomenal, and i enjoyed pacing myself with this one with a cup of tea at my side. slow and meaningful and gently heartbreaking. i did take a large break between sessions due to health reasons, which did affect some of my choices (not to mention, after reaching the ending once, i learned it's not the ideal way to play this game), but it was still an easy game to get back into. 8/10
The teashop interactions and tea brewing is cozy and chill. More storytelling than tea-brewing but I enjoyed it nevertheless. The framed wall of photos was fun to view and the voices enjoyable. Unexpectedly, there was a mystery that had an eerie/creepy vibe and a lot of lore behind the bright facade of a cozy teashop! Each ending provided a new story and insight into the lady's life.
Ellietendo's Review Of Sips and Sonnets
I received a free copy of this game for review purposes. I used a mouse for gameplay.
Pros:

Strong Storytelling - As this game is a visual novel, I would expect extremely strong storytelling. "Sips and Sonnets" excels in this regard; the story steadily progresses with each chapter. The in-depth storyline pulls on your heartstrings and makes you want to invest in the full game.
Easy/Accessible Controls - This game does not have that many controls. All you need to do is press the spacebar; you are pretty much sorted at that point. This is probably one of the most accessible games that I have ever played. Just one button, and you can just relax and watch/listen to the visual novel.
Cozy Atmosphere - Being able to just listen to the passing customers’ stories is a real treat. The fact that you can do this and also have 2 mini-games (brewing tea and crafting poems) makes this the perfect game for a rainy/cozy day where you want to bundle up warm and have a hot drink!

Cons:

Awkward Mouth Movements - Something that I did notice is that the mouth animations are very basic. The words that are said and the lip movement do not match. It can be a bit jarring at times, hearing the words but seeing the mouth do something completely different.
Grammatical Errors? - A lot of people may not have picked up on this, as this is a very subtle thing. Unfortunately for “Sips and Sonnets”, I am British, so I saw it. They impressively were able to have most of the text be in “British English” and not the standard “American English” that most Brits are used to seeing. There were a few occasions where the “American English” did creep in (probably an oversight by the game devs), and it made it for a brief moment less immersive. I’m sure it’s an easy fix so don’t judge me too hard please!

Overall:
Overall, “Sips and Sonnets” is one of the few visual novels that I would love to finish from start to end! With the super easy controls, meaning you can have this in the background whilst also doing other tasks, it’s perfect for “Cozy” moments. Getting lost in the story and/or the music is a pure joy and one that I wish more people would experience. I would strongly recommend this game to people, even to those like me who may not normally go for “Visual Novel” types of games. It’s a nice change of pace! P.S. I am also heavily biased on the British theme (tea shop in the British countryside), it’s rare to find games set in the UK and that in itself is a nice bonus.
This game has a carefully crafted story full of cozy vibes but also some concerns about growing old. The characters are delightful and the tea-making minigame is pretty easy but I learned a lot about tea! The conversations are fun but make sure you pay attention to what everyone is telling you! In the end, I fell in love with the characters and did shed a few tears. A bit of a warning, if you have a phobia of medical needles or memory degradation, you might not enjoy this game. The needle is not shown to administer the medicine but is there to be filled up.
I was NOT ready for the ending. All of them by the way.. This game really left a big impact on me... in a good way of course with a little sprinkle of trauma.. The art and writing are amazing, I am excited for your next game
Sip and Sonnets was such a cute and cozy little game. From the moment I started playing, I loved the relaxing atmosphere and charming art style. It felt like the perfect game to unwind with while still giving me fun little puzzles to solve. I'll admit, figuring out the measurements in the evening had me completely stumped at first! Once it clicked, though, it was incredibly satisfying, and I appreciated how the game encouraged me to think a little differently. One of my favorite parts was meeting all of the different personalities along the way. Every character added something special to the experience, making the world feel warm and inviting. If you're looking for a cozy game with charming characters, clever puzzles, and a relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend Sip and Sonnets. It was a delightful experience from start to finish.
