It's a very fun and creative puzzle game. I do have a few notes tho. I wish there was a but more story to the game outside of the first cutscene you see. Like maybe have a story mode with like different levels and/or objectives. I'm not saying you should go the full Dr. Mario route for this game's story, I just want a bit more story (I mainly just want to see the villain and henchwoman be together lol). I want a full settings menu where I can change the games volume and also the size of the window. Cause the window size for this game for me is pretty small. I wish to make it full screen. I also noticed a few glitches in the game where sometimes you wouldn't be able to box in some froobies (or whatever they're called). Like I feel I could've sworn I put some frooby in a box and it just didn't count. So it felt like I needed to be extra careful. But other than that, the art is lovely and the game itself is super fun and creative. I liked it a lot and wish to see it become more. Idk if you have any intentions on updating this game or making this game more than what it is currently, but I really like, especially for $3.
The claymation vibes are amazing!
Crisppyboat's style and character designs are just so charming, and i think all of that was executed perfectly for a game like this. The Dexter's Lab vibes enveloping the whole thing are immaculate, and the characters and their dynamic are so fun. I can see the potential in this game being really fun and addicting if i could play it on a touchscreen or a more tactile form factor, but in spite of me just not being all that quick with a mouse there's still fun to be had. For every interesting idea put into this game that I think successfully aid the flow of gameplay like the multicolored substitute floogles that just make searching for combos easier, as an alternative to finding the pattern the game is showing you down to the letter; I see issues like the timer being slightly overbearing, even in regular mode, as to feel like there's little to no time to both locate a pattern and maneuver your mouse to draw a box around it - which as previously stated may just be something personal to me - . Or UI elements getting in the way of me being able to see my box that i'm drawing which happened to me a couple of times which resulted in me failing to close my boxes seeing how the first point I jotted down was hidden underneath the monitor in the top corner. I have my nitpicks but for what it's worth, I can't say i'm not delighted with this game.
Cute game please buy
This is a video game about an evil minion chimp making evil soda to impress their evil enchantress boss because they're madly in love with her, as told in claymation. In short, it's a game that feels like it was pried out of one of our dreams. This game just kind of spawned in one day, with the artist behind "Moonits from ANTONBLAST's head" and "Caddicarus' claymation everything since the early 2020s" at the helm, and now we have to live with it. To be fair, it's pretty dang "what you see is what you get"; a pretty interesting take on an arcade puzzle game, with a fun art style and cool music. We *have* experienced a rather odd glitch (namely, if you manage to lose a life on the same frame as making a match, the game actually restocks the board *twice*, which... has killed a few of our runs before), and the mine tiles are oddly unforgiving, not even resetting the timer when they restock the board (making it VERY easy for them to chew through two lives!). But like. Both of those are pretty minor qualms (or at least, can be easily played around). For the price we paid (79 cents when it was on sale, yes, this game literally cost us less than a soda), we enjoyed our time, and can see us messing around with this a bit more. Really, our only actual complaint is that we wish there was more of it, but like, that's kind of weird to deem a "complaint", yeah? As we write this, we're top 10 on the online leaderboards. Think you can get higher than 8k points to beat us? Then, go ahead. **COMPLETE OUR SINISTER CHALLENGE.**
bought because i love crisppyboat's art please finish netescape this game does lack an options menu and i did have it crash while loading into the actual board once or twice
Fun little game, great art and sound design. I had the most fun using a screen tablet instead of a mouse - works pretty well! Sometimes the matching is a bit finicky; I'm still trying to figure out what counts as "in" and what doesn't. On rare occasions, it seems that the required combo just isn't possible to make. Overall it's just stuff that a little fine tuning could mitigate.
Super fun and addicting!
