I love the concept but there is one issue i just cannot get past. The biggest issue in minesweeper is when you have to do a 50/50 guess. It makes it that your skill doesn't matter because you can just lose if you guess wrong. This very unfun mechanic is unfortuantley present here as well. I think this game has amazing potential, but I get too annoyed at losing hp just because of guessing wrong. If the dev were to fix that, removing the random guesses, I could see myself spending hours on this.
A retro style, slay the spire inspired minesweeper rougelike thats very easy to spend hours in or just get in a quick run, i literally didn’t know how to play minesweeper before i played this game
this game is really good, but there are a few main problems that could really be improved on. first, while the solo dev really does listen to community feedback, there are still a lot of bugs and QOL that could simply be fixed VIA simple playtesting. second, the lack of background music requires you to either sit in (mostly) silence, or play your own music behind it. third, the timer. 10 minutes is quite a long time for a lot of the zones, and up to zone 7 i really don't worry about it. if the timer could shrink in a way where it's constantly on your mind, it would make the game a bit more intriguing. finally, the amount of 50/50's. while i understand the aspect of leaving these in (no point of hp and shield), every board above 2 difficulty is RIDDLED with them. it would be much better if there were 50% (get it) less of these in every board. overall, still it's a great game and for the cost i recommend you buy it, but ~70% of the time my runs end due to like 10+ 50/50's in one board.
