I have been playing this game for YEARS. First on mobile and recently got it on PC. It may be a "dead" game, it still offers a decent challenge. Also, not sure if it is abandoned by the dev's. I am basing that on reviews here. Anyway, I still like it very much.

While the concept is fun, this game looks like it wanted to be subscription based, but then as others have mentioned, it's a dead game. I was like, eh, I don't care about upgrades, it's only $2, let me give it a try. But because it wanted to be subscription and now it's dead, you'll find you're only allowed 6 play-throughs total without purchasing more, all of the maps are not unlocked unless you want to buy them, and not only that, they're actually "reset" options, so you can't have more than 2 saves at a time, each with 3 resets, which feels wild on a game I purchase. I mean, I'm only a casual player, so I can't imagine playing more than 6 times, but if I mess up a town and want to restart, only letting me do that 3 times? that's crazy. I'd rather pay more up front and then not have to subscribe to games to keep playing them.
