unpredictable co-op horror game that keeps you and your friends constantly on edge.
The game pushes players into a gripping horror journey, where every corner hides a new danger. Randomized puzzles and ever-shifting environments ensure constant suspense, making each playthrough feel unpredictable. It’s a perfect fit for horror lovers seeking intense co-op gameplay with a twist of uncertainty.
A lot of potential, and at times the enjoyment manages to come through, but ultimately too many of the game mechanics and objectives are shrouded in heavily redacted notes found around the house. The reasoning behind redacting these notes seems to have no purpose related to the objectives, and appears to be done as a way to add mystery. Unfortunately this choice leaves A LOT of confusion and random walking around hoping to figure out what you're required to do to move forward. There is a revival mechanic that is not explained outside of a note telling you to "light the big candle", however once you do so the candle can not be re-lit. There is no information on whether or not there is another candle, or the current candle has a cool down, etc. Approaching end game you are required to turn on the power in order to complete the final objective, but the fuse box is outside the house, and the front door will randomly lock for long periods of time without explanation. There does not seem to be an event or mechanic to open the door, it just randomly opens and closes on its own. This places the player in a holding pattern where you are just hiding or walking around until it hopefully re-opens. For most of the game you are hiding from the scientist, but the radius of his footprint sound is so wide that the sound of him being right next to you or 2 stories below is exactly the same. While this adds to the tension, he moves around so quickly and so often, it makes it very difficult to strategize your movement as you never know if he is on top of you, or down the street getting a coffee. We played this game for 2 hours, because we did enjoy a portion of it enough to continue. However, a few adjustments to the game mechanics would make this game a lot more enjoyable for the player. Twitch chat spent most of the time confused as to what the objectives where, and instead of feeling the suspense, they watched us hide for the majority of the stream. With a little more attention, this could be a lot of fun. Keep up the good work!
The game is an intense co-op horror game that delivers a thrilling experience for up to 4 players. The game’s haunting atmosphere, stunning visuals, and unique maps make each playthrough a suspenseful adventure. With randomized objectives and puzzles, no two runs feel the same, keeping the gameplay fresh and challenging. The monster AI is tough, offering a true test of survival. While the game excels in atmosphere and design, a few glitches and animation tweaks would enhance the experience. Overall, it’s a must-try for horror fans seeking a cooperative challenge.
