About

Build over-the-top combos one move at a time. Position is everything, and most moves chain into the next if your timing is right. See how far you can carry the chain!
Line up your Big Swing so the impact carries to enemies behind your target
Launch a target skyward, juggle them in midair, then slam them back into the ground
Trade your own HP to push the combo into the next target when the current one is incapacitated.
Finish with a full-screen attack that shreds every enemy caught in the chain

Mino is more than a cute face. He's your combo partner, and the chain lives or dies on when you tag him in.
Call Mino in for a Nose Launch to send your target rocketing skyward
Use Dig to claw a downed enemy back up so the combo can keep running
Mix in Fetch and Fling, where Mino snatches an enemy out of midair and throws them wherever you point

Earn skill points as you level up and spend them across the skill tree to learn new moves or sharpen the ones you already have.
Spend you skill points on Signy's moves, Mino's tricks, or your defenses
Unlock Combo Extend to chain more skills into a single combo
Befriend a washed-up warrior who'll teach you tricks no one else can

A volcanic explosion masks a much more sinister problem: Auger, the short-tempered god of rock and magma, has been reborn with an axe to grind. Take on the burden of being the only one who can face him.
Stand against Auger, freshly clawed out of his rest in the mountain
Join forces with other fallen gods and washed-up warriors as the world catches fire
Discover your own hidden powers as the conflict pulls you in deeper

This game reminds me of Valkyrie Profile in the combat where you juggle enemies to do optimal damage. the game is good and is worth the price. Mino is the bestest boy for nose up(air launcher) and fetch and toss.
combat system is fun but story was kinda lack and game was kinda short
It's a very great gimmick with a cool story, a polished visuall and sound design and i can see what they where trying to do with it... it's just to short in my opinion. About 5h to clean this game with absolutly 0 difficulty.
It still deserve a ton of love so feel free to grab this when you can (and maybe on sale..)
My only feedback are as follow :
- Combo challenge are to easy with infinite skills. I would have prefered to keep the single use aspect that you have in combat to make those more like puzzle. I ended up doing Fetch & fling + tornado kick on loop to reach the counter then use a bunch of random skils before finishing. - XP is to fast, I was maxed out before the mirror temple. I think a full clear should land you at max level rigght about the final dungeon. That way anyone that did not get all fights can still get some missing XP with the gauntlet (yet I can see those two points go hand in hand as the tree for skills also improve your way to do combo and slow XP mean harder combo in the early game, etc...)
Really cool game with a few flaws. The Good - Excellent combat system. Really addictive and fun stringing together combos - Gorgeous art style The Not So Good - Story felt a little half-baked. Some good ideas that never feel like they reach their true potential - Despite good character art, there are obvious production value gaps in the environments and story cutscenes It took me about 5.5 hours to finish. I prefer shorter games these days but I know others really want value in hours played. Either way, I think it's worth a play!
Love the art style, the approachability and accessibility of the controls and combat. Late game when with some enemy line-ups you can crush the whole set with a fantastically animated and flowing combo is just a thing of delight.
I enjoyed my time with this short and sweet little turn based RPG. If you're thinking of buying this one, you should know going in that it is quite short (it took me around 6 hours, and I was not in any hurry). But I had just finished playing Alan Wake 2 and this game was the perfect palate cleanser. The battle system is quite interesting. It had Paper Mario style combat but unlike other PM style indies (such as Bug Fables or Escape from Ever After) it evolves it in a pretty interesting way. You're still doing timed hits and defending on enemy rounds, but during the player phase you're strategically using your abilities to leave the enemy in certain positions so that you can press your advantage and execute long combos that take full advantage of all of Signy's and Mino's abilities. It's very dynamic and interesting if not a bit on the easy side. But the fact that the game doesn't overstay it's welcome works for it here. One thing that I will mention is that this game does wear it's limited budget on it's sleave. It's hard not to notice, but if that doesn't bother you, I'd give this one a try. At a budget price, this might be the perfect gap filler between those huge RPGs in your backlog.
Pairing with gods to battle another and the inward look on humanity. Fun little game. Has nice juggling combo attacks. It's a quick game
I love almost everything about this game. The developer, the publisher, the game itself. But I do have to add the same warning I've seen elsewhere. While 16 dollars is on the low end, I beat the game in roughly 4 hours while streaming. That means I was answering questions, stopping to explain things, doing silly stuff...it's just not enough content. I would highly recommend this game to any friend, but I do recommend it on sale. I reached max level and max skill tree in only a few hours as well and spent the last half of the game fully upgraded, so I just did the same combos/abilities over and over again. There is a GREAT system here, and the juggling is fun. The chip system is useless but also a fun idea! The skill tree is pointless but a fun idea. Everything just needs to be expanded a bit, and the pacing fixed. And again, even though these are negatives, the experience itself was very good! Very fun for what it is.
Wanted to love it. The trailers showed off multi-hit combos and nice sprites. I love dogs so a dog companion also grabbed my attention. But from the beginning the game just didn’t hold my attention. The plot couldn’t make me care and I didn’t like something about the style of the graphics outside of the sprites. The ground and shrubbery type of graphics I mean. I hope the dev does well and sticks around. I can tell they cared. I just wish I had once I booted the game up.
I love this game so much. It scratches that itch of action-command turn-based combat I've been missing since the Mario and Luigi RPG games (I know Brothership came out..., but I wasn't impressed). avoiding enemy attacks takes some practice but mostly is very easy to understand. The combo system is very engaging, giving it a 2d fighting game feel as you are stringing attacks together in certain orders depending on the needs of the combat. If the creators want to make another game in this series, I would be more than happy to buy it. I just have a few things I would want to see in the next game: 1. (optional) higher difficulty: I have played games similar to this, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask. Still, I was really hoping for some genuinely difficult encounters or bosses. I understand if you want to keep the games approachable, but maybe then have some optional content behind tougher bosses or areas. I never felt the need to use a healing item in or out of combat, especially when I got the parry-heal ability. 2. ...more game: I was sad when it was over partially because... I felt it was really short. I can see this concept taken much farther with more moves, more chips, and more enemy variety/statuses. I got to max level before the last zone, and I didn't even think I did any grinding, just taking combats as they appeared. Maybe instead of a sequel... this game could get an expansion? I know I'd also buy that. All in all. I love what this game is and is trying to do. I think one of the best feelings you can have at the end of a game is wanting more of the game, and that is exactly how I felt.
