Edit: Devs seem to be checking reviews and pushing patches to address the mentioned issues. I´ll check out the game and my review once a major patch comes in. Phases are useless and dont really impact fights. Fights dont last longer than 2 phases anyways. Unless there is some hidden weapon somewhere. In that case you wont lose but the fight will drag itself out until youre facepalming yourself. Level up cinematic is annoying af. There is almost nothing to do. Aiming is way too easy and defenses are too basic and similar to come up with smart ways to build. There is no point to it. Infantry doesnt attack archers standing right in their face. There is no tactic. Its always just "shoot the building under the cannons away and win. Gets real boring real quick. I really like the concept and had this title in my wishlist for quite a while. If you can get the game cheap and just want to look into what seems to be a side project or first indie game attempt, go for it. Dont get your expectations too high, however.
I tested this game and did enjoy it. Things i have spotted is people expecting stronghold like gameplay, it really is nothing like stronghold. The video, made it seem to me as if it's a microtransaction fest, it has no microtransactions. You build your castle and shoot the enemy's castle into bits, much like castle storm. In all honesty, if i had to chose between siege the day and castle storm i'd prefer playing castle storm, but this game has entertained me greatly as well. Controls may seem wonky at first, but they're easy to get used to.
Nice concept. Just did my first test run and got already turnd off by super annoying tutorial, wonky controls and mediocre looks. However the idea is promissing and I am looking forward to come back after another update or two to check back how it does.
Great idea. Decent gameplay. Terrible polishing. Please work on the effects and for god's sake please re-do the voiceovers with someone with better English accent. I know it seems unimportant but trust me it will feel much more polished and high quality to the players.
paint drying is more fun will try again after a few updates and patches. the tutorial is badly voiced and feels slow/clunky got to level 6 after 20 min of campaign play and unlocked some extra items .. but didnt really notice a diff between catapult and cannon again will try again after some updates but not worth it atm
This is the old 80 game Crossbows and Catapults re-imagined as a computer game - for an early access release its playable and fun. Game does need some polish - takes a bit of patience to get thru the tutorial and voice acting needs to change. I can't comment on Multiplayer as I haven't been able to get in a game - I assume its a lack of players :(
Actually, pretty impressed. Great Game. Think i can rule the world. Negative- cant seem to be able to find players online. Don't know if enough are trying yet.

Siege the Day is pretty good. I love the mix of Tower Defense, Base Building, and Real Time Strategy. There's quite a lot of replayability with a staggering 100 unlocks via account leveling and campaign stages. I highly recommend taking a look at this one, if you're into this type of game I'd check out the PVP and I can't wait for more updates! Definitely needs that early access polish! Check out my full gameplay review video for Siege the Day. I go into great depth about the Story, Graphics, Audio, Gameplay, and other noteworthy things I feel needs to be mentioned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBMM5Kt4gcs
