No V-Sync Clunky controls, too clunky to play. Right after you neutralize the first guard, the same buttons are disabled. Weird attempt of a game, needs a complete rehaul of the engine. And a character designer on top of it.
A great game, considering it was made by university students. It's short, you can finish it in an hour if you don't overthink too much. I like the setting, I like the main character, even though it's not very clear what is her backstory, why does she look like this and so on. The game was a bit laggy to me, but maybe it's a problem with my computer. Most bugs were with sound and music - sometimes it stopped for no reason and in the end cut scene there was mostly no sound at all. Would I recommend playing this? I mean, why not? It mostly makes me appreciate the fact that people are able to make games - you start to notice how hard it is only when it's not perfectly polished. I wish luck to these students and hopefully in the future we will hear more from them.
No i można ją ukończyć w kilka minut.

Sicaria is a free-to-play stealth action title developed by Team Stelth and published by Breda University of Applied Sciences. Set against the grim backdrop of the Spanish Fury that devastated Antwerp in 1576, the game presents a focused adventure centered on infiltration, assassination, and survival rather than large-scale combat. Its historical setting immediately distinguishes it from many modern indie stealth games, grounding its narrative in a real-world tragedy while allowing players to step into the role of a skilled assassin determined to strike against oppressive forces. Although its scope is relatively modest, the game succeeds by concentrating on polished stealth mechanics and immersive level design. The gameplay revolves around remaining unseen, observing enemy patrols, and carefully planning every move. Charging directly into hostile encounters is rarely a viable option, encouraging players to rely on patience and strategy instead. Every corridor, rooftop, and shadow can become either a valuable advantage or a dangerous trap depending on how situations are approached. This deliberate pacing creates genuine tension throughout each mission, rewarding players who take the time to study their surroundings and identify the safest route forward. The game consistently reinforces the idea that intelligence and precision are more powerful than brute force. One of Sicaria's strengths lies in the freedom it offers when tackling objectives. Missions rarely force a single solution, allowing players to slip past enemies unnoticed, silently eliminate selected targets, or creatively combine stealth tools and environmental opportunities to overcome obstacles. This flexibility gives each level replay value, as experimenting with different tactics often reveals alternate pathways and hidden possibilities that may have been overlooked during an initial playthrough. Players who enjoy refining their strategies and pursuing flawless stealth runs will likely appreciate the game's emphasis on experimentation. Exploration is another rewarding aspect of the experience. Hidden equipment, optional collectibles, and achievement-based challenges encourage players to investigate every section of the environment instead of simply following the primary objective. These discoveries provide additional motivation to revisit completed stages while also making each map feel thoughtfully constructed. The layouts support multiple approaches without becoming confusing, striking a balance between player freedom and carefully directed progression. Visually, Sicaria makes excellent use of its historical setting despite being created by a relatively small development team. Medieval architecture, narrow streets, and atmospheric lighting effectively capture the feeling of a city living under constant threat. Darkness is not only an artistic choice but also an essential gameplay mechanic, allowing players to blend into the environment while planning their next move. Character models and environmental details may not rival those of major commercial productions, but the visual presentation consistently supports the game's stealth-focused design philosophy. Sound design contributes significantly to the overall immersion. Ambient noises help establish the tension of occupied streets, while enemy voices and environmental cues provide valuable information that attentive players can use to avoid detection. Rather than relying on an overly dramatic soundtrack, the audio remains restrained, allowing moments of silence to heighten suspense and making every successful infiltration feel earned. The combination of visual atmosphere and carefully implemented sound design reinforces the game's methodical pace from beginning to end. As with many independently developed projects, Sicaria has a few rough edges. Enemy artificial intelligence can occasionally become predictable, some animations lack refinement, and certain interactions reveal the limitations of the project's production scale. However, these issues rarely interfere with the overall experience because the core stealth mechanics remain engaging and well-balanced. The game understands its strengths and avoids unnecessary feature bloat, delivering a focused experience that remains enjoyable throughout its campaign. What ultimately makes Sicaria stand out is its confidence in embracing traditional stealth gameplay without attempting to imitate larger franchises feature for feature. Instead, it focuses on delivering satisfying infiltration mechanics, meaningful player choice, and an authentic historical atmosphere. The result is a polished and memorable adventure that exceeds expectations for a free release and showcases the talent behind its development. Fans of stealth games who appreciate careful planning, environmental awareness, and rewarding level design will likely find plenty to enjoy here. Rating: 8/10
