Shrine of the God-Ape is essentially Ruination for the impressionable majority. With simplified mechanics, heavier emphasis on platforming, and reduced difficulty, fans of the former Zachary Lee title may come in disappointed. Future Zachary Lee fans can take solace in knowing that, despite these changes, the overall product still functions well and provides some enticing gameplay finesse. Its incredibly low content, however, makes this only barely recommendable to the general player. + Great pixel detail + Well-tuned boss fights + Price makes short runtime worth it - (Very) Lacking in content - Gameplay mechanics perhaps too simplistic - Music feels thrown in Read the full review at https://www.keengamer.com/articles/reviews/pc-reviews/shrine-of-the-god-ape-review/
I've spent 200 hours on AC: Odyssey, and if I want to complete every location, I probably have another 200 to go. I could've spent the last hour on my 201st, but instead I managed to complete this fun, simple, no nonsense old school platformer, and a wise choice it has been. Given its ridiculously low price, it was well worth it. My only nitpicks: you can stand on top of spiky balls, which is highly counter-intuitive, and the way to beat the last boss is also a bit counter-intuitive; I think I know how I managed it, but I'm still unsure.
Pretty good cheap stuff from store. But there some bug (like no music loop, stuck, etc.)

Shrine of the God-Ape is a good, short whip-armed platformer. The controls work well. You might get killed a few times figuring out each level, but the levels are short enough that they don't need checkpoints. During the rare occasion when a check-point is needed -- the final boss-fight sequence -- it is provided. Consequently, you generally don't have to play easy parts over and over just to get to a difficulty spike that repeatedly kills you. If you didn't like Zachary Lee's previous title, Ruination, give this title a chance. It's far better designed. It's frequently on sale, but well worth the regular $1 price tag.
jogo bom com mecânicas legais porém os controles são meio estranhos e é difícil jogar com eles, poderia ter a opção de escolher as teclas ou colocar um controle melhor.
It's pretty short but not bad. I'll give you a tip. Remove your escape button from keyboard. This game doesn't have save system and if you press escape in game, it deletes all of your progress and opens main menu. You can start from beginning just because you wanted to pause the game.

很棒,既简短又有挑战性。
Очень трудная игра
