Undead Quest

[h1]Experienced on the Meta Quest 2[/h1] You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/GtSk4DhNK58 [u]This is a neutral recommendation.[/u] This is an odd game, it's a mix of rogue-lite wave shooter with brick breaker action & throw in some magic spells in there as well. You use a cricket bat and a magic ball and proceed to break the undead as you batter up. You get different upgrades as you collect xp & there are some permanent upgrades as well. You can also slash them with your cricket bat / sword. There are some spells & potions as well that you can use. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting some dropped frames, but nothing severe. The action is all 180 degrees in front of you. You can play seated or standing, but you may want to play standing as the batting action may be best if you're standing like you would in a batter's stance. I must admit that after an hour of playing this game, I'm not quite sure on how I feel about this game. Maybe because I played seated, I just didn't get into the zone while playing this game. It just felt like it was missing something. I have played better roguelites and I have played better brick breakers. Maybe others will find this game more enjoyable though.
