Holy Cow! A Review from someone who has only played 9 mins?! Surely they wouldn't know anything about this game or experienced it enough to give it a proper review??! Actually I can. In my 9 mins of playtime I finished this game not once, not twice but three times! Funny thing is the time it took to write this review exceeded my total playtime xD Oh and btw while im here, just a peeve of mine but the store page title is "SHOOT THE BUUUUUUUGS" but in game its "Shoot the Bugs" so someone cared so little for this game they couldn't even remember the title... OK so lets go over the selling points (listed on the page as of time of me writing this review): Endless bugs spawn Nope. two out of my three play through the bugs stopped spawning after 21 of them was killed, Not that they was a threat anyway given they get caught on most things and go slower than a constipated sloth taking a dump. Being honest, I'm not even sure if they can do damage to you Collecting crystals This is actually correct, you do collect crystals. Pro Tip though you press E to get them, the font is really bad and blends with the crystals. Nice soundtrack Subjective, to me it was repetitive and generic AK 47 There is an AK! 100% correct here. No recoil mind you, nor ammo counter, you can reload endlessly and no ammo limit or pickups... so yea... Beautiful graphic Obligatory "Just the one" joke here, also no, just no, basic low poly generic asset flip graphics Some of my other comments is somehow they have not figured out how to do a menu properly as you have to toggle the mouse cursor every play (Tab Key) So what do I think of it? well if you made it this far and still wondering that, I don't think you was paying attention. as someones 1st game they would give away for free or something I wouldn't even mind. but this is a sold for product (admittedly a dollar or so) and as such I do have to factor that in and you know, I will say this game here gave me the willpower, the energy and the drive to get up, turn off my computer, go to the shed, get some paint and a brush and put a small bit on a loose plank of wood. Watching that paint dry was so compelling compared to this waste of hard drive space.
SHOOT THE BUUUUUUUGS... DO IT!!!!
Would be better if I were aiming at Israel instead
Fun 10/10 would play again
Warning: Asset Flip! SHOOT THE BUUUUUUUGS is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of low poly assets from the asset creator, Meshtint, and dumped them onto a Unity FPS template to make an incredibly bad wave survival shooter. The main enemy, the bug, was stolen from the "Metalon" bug asset for example. So you can see this is just a nasty asset flip from a Russian intellectual property thief and review manipulator. It has no value or merit as a real game. A Nostru/My Way Games has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Extreme Racing On Highway" = Highway Racer developed by BoneCracker Games
"The Hunt in the Forest" = Advanced Sniper Starter Kit developed by Hardworker Studio
"Mine the Gold" = Gold Miner Century developed by SplayGame Official
"Muscle Car Robot" = Muscle Car Robot developed by GameNing
"Top Burger" = Top Burger Chef developed by KetchAp
"Dinosaur Bone Digging" = Dinosaur Bone Digging Games developed by Ardian Kaltara
"Miniballist" = Endless Turns developed by SGLib Games
"Trivia Night" = Trivia Quiz Game Template developed by Puppeteer
"CubeXL" = Switch The Gravity developed by App Advisory
"Space Force" = X-Racer developed by Deer Cat
"Easy Racing" = Crashy Racing full game pack developed by SgLib games
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak player count was only ONE player. That's right, only one person ever played this at a time. When I played this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak player count for the game. OUCH. The only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? SHOOT THE BUUUUUUUGS has the almost comically optimistic (if it wasn't so sad) price of $30 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. For comparison, the $30 asking price for this game could get you games like "Ghostrunner", "Lethal Company" or "The Elder Scrolls Online". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Not worth the money game is beatable within 10 mins. its not even worth replaying honestly i believe it took me longer to figure out the keys to play then i did on my second run. Just like another said bugs are buggy, they get stuck on everything. the cursor and aim are way off
who said after 20 crystals collected a naked anime girl will appear i hope u are gonna be infertile.
So I actually tried to play this, and no I didn't buy it at full price, like no way, but the game is really broken that you can't actually finish it like you can with other shovelware, this is because your gun runs out of ammo and there's no ammo to collect anywhere lol, and although you have unlimited grenades, they don't seem to kill the enemies and are glitched out, thus when you run out of ammo, all you can do it keep running away from the bugs until you decide to quit the game and delete it; I would have given it a thumbs up for the effort if the game wasn't so broken and unfinishable.
It's not worth any money at all. Good news, it takes a couple minutes to beat so you can get refunded if you bought it. It just kill a dozen bugs and collect 20 crystals and the game just ends. It's obvious it's the creators first time trying to make a game, and they had no skill for it. Charging people for this feels scummy.
Game got massive updates and content, became one of the best solo game out there. Don't mind the graphics, the steam page didn't get updated yet game is beautiful and now have around 15-20 hours of game play. Truly hope more people will try it and I am excited to play more as I am only beginning my journey on this game.
