Feedback on Shoes Store Simulator After a 6-hour live session on Shoes Store Simulator, here is my experience. The game is overall very positive, with an interesting concept and well-thought-out progression. Despite a few minor issues, some improvements could make it even better. Areas for Improvement: Store and stock employees are too slow: Adding a fatigue bar that decreases over time would be interesting. Once exhausted, they could take a break to recharge, introducing a more strategic staff management system. Box animations: When a customer picks up a box, it makes a large circular motion before landing in their hands, which feels unnatural. Placing display stands: Being able to place stands side by side would allow for more flexibility in store layout. Price tags on displays: This would improve item readability and enhance immersion. Character design: I loved the animated cartoon-style characters from Candy & Toys Store Simulator. It would have been great to see them return in Shoes Store Simulator. Player model: Seeing our own body instead of just a floating camera would enhance immersion. Children's section: Adding a dedicated section for children's shoes would be a great content expansion. Carton arrivals: It would be more realistic for cartons to arrive by truck rather than falling from the sky. Thief during store closure: Currently, the thief still comes even when the store is closed. This mechanic might need some adjustments. Positive Points: Well-executed day/night cycle: Time management is smooth and well-implemented. Great game progression: After 6 hours of live testing, I reached level 20 with $10,000 and unlocked many improvements. Cinematic of the store explosion: A big highlight! I did not expect it at all—well done! Exclusive offers concept: The idea of offering unique deals is well thought out and adds a strategic element to the game. In conclusion, Shoes Store Simulator is a promising game with a solid gameplay foundation. A few tweaks could further enhance it to provide an even more immersive and fluid experience. Thank you for this game, and I look forward to future updates!
Unfinished, Broken Games Are Being Sold for Real Money — and It's Not Okay
It’s honestly unacceptable how often unfinished and barely playable games are being sold on Steam for real money. Developers release games that are clearly incomplete, full of bugs, or missing basic features, and then they either go silent or abandon the project entirely. Yet somehow, these titles are still allowed to be sold like full, finished products.

Steam Needs to Take More Responsibility
Slapping an "Early Access" label on something doesn’t excuse selling a broken, half-made game. Many of these games stay in early access for years, or worse — they’re never finished at all. And the players who support these projects early on are left with nothing but frustration and regret.

What Steam Is Doing Isn't Enough
Yes, Steam has taken some steps to ban scam developers, but it’s nowhere near enough. There should be:

Real quality control — don't allow completely broken projects onto the store
Stricter rules for Early Access — require minimum functionality and real progress
Stronger refund protections — especially for abandoned or misleading games

We’re Not Asking for Perfection
Gamers just want:
Games that actually work
Developers who actually follow through and a platform that protects its users instead of enabling scams It’s exhausting to keep paying for titles that feel more like scams than actual games.
Steam can and should do better.
GREAT GAME GREAT GAME
i can't recommend at this time. I wrote them a while back that the storage worker was bugged and after all this time they have not fixed it. Hopefulley they are still working on it.
Like the idea of the game just wish it actually saved on steam deck, instead you lose all progess.
It is a very good simulator game. The concept of a shoe store is fantastic. However, there are many flaws. The employees are VERY slow especially the cashier. As I am going around the store, there will be over 20 customers waiting on line. I find myself having to fire the cashier so that I can check the customers out faster. Next as the store gets bigger, you only have one cashier. You need to have the ability to hire at least 3 more cashiers. Developers: Please fix the employees to move much faster and add more cashiers. If not, playing the game will become very frustrating.
