About
Everything, from floor space, to shelf stock to products carried, even wall designs and employee affect your store’s appeal, sales, and profitability.
Simulated down to the finest detail, you’ll experience the challenges, decisions, and successes of a business owner, whether you start from the bottom or build up a bustling business empire!
Design stores from the ground up with King of Retail 2’s in-game design tools.
Customize store layout, building materials, textures, windows, and build a flow for your store to get customers in the door and through the shopping lines.
Build stores as big as your ambitions. Add multiple levels to create huge shopping centres, and connect floors with elevators and escalators. There is no limit to the styles and designs you can incorporate into your store.
A fully realized city is yours for the taking. Your choice of location determines what types of customers are nearby, what they buy, and what their tastes are when shopping.
Every building and every location within King of Retail 2 can be expanded into retail space. City layout and income levels play a factor in whether your next store will be a humble corner store, or a multi-level department store in the middle of downtown.
As your stores grow, you can expand into new neighborhoods, and diversify your business model to tackle new markets, from street fashion to high-tech gadgets.
Hire, organize, and put your employees to work. Employees are independent workers and the backbone of your business, with their own behaviours, habits, and interests.
Poor employees are a drain on your bottom line, neglect their duties, and pull poor sales, while good employees can be promoted, mentored, and eventually given the responsibility of managing stores on your behalf.
Whether you’re an entrepreneur who likes to do the dirty work alongside the team, or a big-thinker who knows how to delegate, your employees are there to build your business and bring the world of King of Retail 2 alive.
Customize, stylize, and upload your designs to define your brand. King of Retail introduces powerful in-game design tools for store, shelf, and more.

Unfortunate that they're relying on AI assets given how good the first game was.
While, being in early access, it is still missing a lot of the features that its predecessor has; it is steadily doing progress Recent updates show, that the dev is actively listening to feedback, while also going forward with improving existing as well as implementing future content. having a couple hundred hours in KoR 1, i can see that KoR 2 will absolutely be a much better endproduct going forward and im happy i picked it up now to be part of the process. for newcomers, it might feel barebones and rough at its edges, but keep in mind it is early access and you probably wont find any comparable shop simulator that also involve this degree of company and team management. i will not recommend you to buy it right now; but to keep track of it, hence a thumbs up if you are unsure if this is for you, hit the follow button or even better, put it on your wishlist, join the discord, look at what the players already do ingame, the patches and whats changing over time. and you might have found a small gem in the mass of shop simulators. its not a big aaa title, its not a revolution of the genre. its a small gem by a small dedicated team that gets polished over time.
Nice game, i mostly play it at my friends desktop with him, very cool and in-depth.
One person. One game. An incredible result. King of Retail 2 is still in Early Access, but for anyone looking for a true store management simulator — everything you need is already here. What impresses me most? This game is made by a single person. One. The level of dedication and passion that this represents is hard to overstate. Every update, every mechanic, every detail — everything came from the hands of a developer who clearly loves what they do. Yes, it's still growing. But even at this stage, it already offers more depth and content than many "complete" games in the genre. The foundation is solid, the vision is clear, and you can see exactly where the game is going. For those who take management seriously and are looking for something unique — this is the time to get in. You grow with the game, follow its evolution, and directly support an independent creator who deserves all the recognition. I rarely see this level of ambition and quality in a solo project. I highly recommend it. 402 hours later, I still can't stop. I've already spent many hours managing supermarkets, clothing stores, electronics stores, and the like—and it's still as addictive as the first day. There's no other game that combines business management, employee simulation, decoration, and economic strategy in this way. It's the only one on the market that truly feels like you're managing a real store: from the layout of the shelves to employee training, to prices and inventory. The level of detail is absurd (in a good way). Want to optimize customer flow? There are mechanics for that. Want to expand to a shopping mall? Also. Want to spend hours just decorating the store? With pleasure. The learning curve might be daunting at first, but once you click—and you will click—it's impossible to put down. It's one of the few games where each session ends with a "just a little more." For those who like in-depth management, without childish simplifications: this is your game. The developer deserves all the support. I recommend it without hesitation. 10/10.
really do enjoyed this game hope development expand further you be able to talk to customer stuff like that
This is a very detailed and management oriented successor to the original game that claimed tons of hours from my life. So far the level of management simulation that King of Retail 2 offers is the most in depth that I have encountered. It can be a lot of adjustment and learning at first. I highly recommend utilizing a premade store to start your adventure, but once you master the basics, the rest follows quickly. The level of detail gameplay that is available is amazing, alongside the ability to manage nearly every aspect of your store. From employee schedules, and scheduling needs, to maintaining wages and crafting teams for every department within your store. The game is not a finished product, but yet the early access version feels very finished. If you are wanting another basic retail game with little to no depth, then go somewhere else. But if you desire a retail game that is extremely immersive and allows you to experience the depth that running a real retail store would require, then King of Retail 2 is definitely for you. I highly suggest watching someone play the game on youtube and make the purchase for yourself. The developer is attentive, listens to requests / issues, and is tirelessly working to bring out a finished product that will be timeless.
Really awesome game and has so much potential. We also need to take into account that this game was only made by a guy with his wife and hopefully in the future they will keep making this game even better :)
One if not the best retail games for detail and playing how you want. My favourite one. I can spend hours getting lost in this. If you love simulators and especially retail games you wont regret this one
So far so good! Waiting for upper management. Keep it up!
Great game
