Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So the graphics are nice. You are aboard 3 different ships from 3 different eras. You're supposedly this ship surveyor and your job is to ensure the safety of the vessels. Whole thing took me about 11 minutes to complete. You can only teleport. You can't snap turn or smooth turn (turn IRL). You have a laser pointer to select items on the ship. Unfortunately, there's a mention of a radar on your wrist and this is where I think I experienced a bug. There was no radar for me. I still managed to find the "safety hazards" though by just randomly clicking around. I can't say that I had fun though, but it's not bad for free. I just wish it had been more in-depth. I didn't really learn much about surveyors or ship safety ... and I kind of wanted to walk the plank after the experience ... Rate 5/10. I mean you can learn some tidbits about ship safety and the visuals are decent.

Ship Surveyor Through the Ages - VR is a free education game about boats. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ok. You as a surveyor, are hunting 3 hazards on 3 different ages of ships while on a 2 minute countdown. The narrator is English. Take a short maybe 12 minutes to complete. If you don't find the 3 hazards and run out of time, you get moved to the next ship to search. Try it, if you like ships and history.
You are transported to 3 different ships in 3 different eras. You cant really explore the whole ship, just a small portion of each one. On every ship you have a 2 minute countdown to find 3 things that should be checked to ensure the safety of the ship. The graphics are ok, the voice over is great, perfomance was acceptable with a 1080, there where no options i could find. You can only teleport to move, and you click when you find a surveyable item. Overall the experience tales ~10min, id like a way to get more time to find all the items, and to feely explore the ship.. there is little content, but its free! So id recommend for anyone that wants a quick experience with a bit of what could be a hazard on ships.
Before I played Ship Surveyor Through the Ages - VR, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Recenzja dwujęzyczna. Komentarz + translator. Bilingual review. Comment + translator. Grywalność jest w zasadzie żadna, można by coś dołożyć, i całkiem inaczej by to wyglądało. Choćby więcej usterek, lub chodzenie i zwiedzanie z jakimiś komentarzami. The whole thing lasts 15 minutes, our task is to find faults on three ships, three on each. The ships are very nicely done, the task is on time. The fault indicates a compass that did not display (on the rift). Playability is basically none, you could add something, and it would look very different. Even more bugs, or walking and sightseeing with some comments. Rekomendacja neutralna. Neutral recommendation.

It's a very short and simple experience, and even being free it's questionable whether it's worth the few minutes necessary to make your way through it, even without having to do some fiddling with Custom Controller Bindings to allow the radar to actually attach to your hand. (If you have Index Knuckles controllers, I published a binding that works.) Frankly, the rest of the experience is so limited I was surprised the "inspection targets" change from playthrough to playthrough.
I cant rotate so the game becomes unplauyable.
