If you are a history nerd or enjoy large scale engineering this is a really cool game for you.

Anyone who's watched the Oceanliner Designs videos on YouTube will no doubt have been impressed by the quite beautiful digital recreations of the ships under discussion by our reliable friend Mike Brady. Here those models have been remastered and improved to allow the player to walk around freely around on them and explore them as much as they like, with discoverable collectible items on board such as photographs of the genuine ship and posters, objects, and other items that offer insights into the history of the ship and life on board, plus some new narrations recorded by Mike Brady. The results are a fascinating 'digital museum'. The player can choose weather and time of day, and included is a photo mode where you can explore the ship in free camera. The fleet available so far includes the SS United States, Morro Castle and an incredibly detailed Bismarck, playable both at sea and as a burning wreck being sunk by the Royal Navy! Interiors are minimal (but then recreating these ships fully would surely take years - maybe decades - of work ... think how long it's taken for Titanic: Honor & Glory to reach us?). Overall, a must if you're an Oceanliner Designs fan and a maritime history nerd in general (like me). Just don't think of it as a 'game' per se, as there are no objectives to complete, just a nice leisurely stroll through history. Or as an interactive Oceanliner Designs video.

This is an excellent way to discover interesting facts about some great ships. If you like big boats and cannot lie, then this is the game for you.

The first game (If you can even call it that) I've ever played (Other than Stormworks) that allowed me to walk around the decks of the SS United States - I absolutely love this game, and I hope that it's further built upon. One of the greatest games I've ever played, and if you like simulators that explain the history of the ship - get this game when you can. If you are expecting something more action-heavy, save your money for something else

As a fan of Oceanliner Designs' content and Ocean Liners in general, this experience is a dream come true. Getting to walk around the SS United States and SS Morro Castle was amazing. Morro Castle has to be my personal favorite of the fleet because she coincidentally is about the same size as a fictional liner of my own design, so it was like exploring two ships at once! And not to mention the two DLC ships HMS Captain and Battleship Bismark being completely free absolutely blew my mind, especially Bismark considering how much there was to explore in just one of her two levels. I could not believe it when I saw the Lusitania is going to be added, getting the chance to walk her decks is going to be a highlight of an experience. In the end, absolutely phenomenal work to all who made this a reality, thank you immensely for preserving the legacies of these great ships.
