Nocturne is definitely not as difficult as people make it out to be, at least on normal, but it might be slightly more challenging than the average JRPG. I had quite a lot of fun with the game and breezed through it pretty quickly. If you're familiar with the press-turn system and buffing/debuffing properly, I don't think the game will really pose much of a challenge. The majority of the bosses can also kind of be beaten with the same strategy if you have a good team with consistent healing and buffing/debuffing. There are some very tedious moments, however. I've died a few times due to unlucky RNG in random encounters, but personally most of the difficulty and tediousness were the poorly designed maze-like dungeons. Remaster-wise, the game could have been improved a bit more. Thankfully, there are a couple of great and easily understandable guides on Steam for mods that fix the radar, graphics, resolution, FPS uncap, cutscenes, and soundtrack, heightening the experience. If you're looking to play this on the Steam Deck, these fixes work perfectly, and the game runs smoothly at max graphics settings and 60 FPS with a low TDP. I recommend Nocturne if you're looking for more combat similar to SMT or Persona, or if you're looking for a bit of a challenging JRPG. Make sure to pick up either the Maniax or Chronicle DLC to start the new game on either Maniax or Chronicle to enjoy an enhanced version of the game with more story, bosses and dungeons.

地味にオリジナルとノクマニ(DMCのダンテがいる方の完全版)とマニクロ(ライドウがいる方の完全版)の3作品のリマスターである点は素晴らしい 少なくともノクマニはハブられても仕方ないと思っていた ゲーム自体ははるか昔の作品なので今から初めてプレイする人には不親切で理不尽に思えるところもあるだろうけどこれでも一応パッチでちょっとだけそういった要素は改善されている 個人的には懐かしさもあり、これくらいの難易度のゲームが欲しかったのもあり非常に満足度が高い

Тупорылый порт хорошей игры, я надеюсь люди в ATLUS тоже видят мир в шакальном блюме, а слышат звуки в сжатом битрейте со времён PS2, я не говорю про то, что игра идёт в 30 кадров. А ведь кому-то пришлось брать этот шлак за фулл прайс. Купите по скидке и накатите патчей. Сама игра заебись.
