DOOMとDevil Daggersを参考にしたらしいアリーナシューター。2Dグラフィックを採用しているが、DOOM調というよりはどこかペン画のような質感が特徴的。 ベースとなったであろうDevil Daggersと同様にストーリーやマップのバリエーションなどはなく、虚空に浮かぶ1つのフィールドに留まって全方位からひたすら湧いてくる敵を倒し続ける、というだけのごくシンプルなゲームシステムとなっている。 特徴的要素として「植物を植える」というシステムがあり、敵を倒して得た種を植える→植えた植物が成長して実を付ける→実を収穫して敵を攻撃→敵から出てきた種を植える、という独特なサイクルが存在している。...が、当然ハイペースなアリーナシューターでそんな植林をやっていて楽しいわけがなく、通常攻撃の弱さ(おそらく実を用いた攻撃に優位性を持たせるためだろうが)も相まって一向に気持ち良さのない戦いが繰り広げられる。このシステムならば普通にRTS的な方向性でゆっくり進められるゲームとして作った方が面白かっただろうに、なぜハイペースなアリーナシューターにしてしまったのかは謎だ。 ただし、敵グラフィックの質感などはけっこう良い感じ。値段もそう高くはないので、グラフィックが気に入ったらちょっと触ってみるのもアリかも。

First Person Shooters that are creative can be hard to find, but Shillelagh is easy to appreciate. The soundtrack is fantastic, the concept keeps me interested, and the leaderboards keep it competitive. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys first-person shooters. 10/10

Myślałem, że będzie więcej treści... + soundtrack goes hard + klimat retro + ciekawi przeciwnicy - jedna lokacja, której potencjał został trochę zmarnowany - niesatysfakcjonujące sterowanie postacią - trochę nieprzyjemne działanie broni jako dobrą alternatywę dla tej gry polecam Post Void i ULTRAKILL
