THIS GAME IS SO GOOD! Honest! Striking visuals, simple gameplay loop, bite size runs with that "One more run" allure. I thought I played for 20 minutes. I ended up playing for nearly an hour and a half. It costs like 2 and a half Costco hotdogs! Buy it! You will be helping an indie dev team, that put a lot of love and care and polish into this title, and it shows. They deserve your purchase.
In my eyes, this is the best skill/ mastery dependant game iv'e seen since KILLBUG, it is a very hard game, just as KILLBUG is, but here's some info without spoiling it What is the story of "KILLMAGE"? Let me briefly break it down, you are a Mage in an eternal arena, assuming you were exiled from your people or maybe to save lives, EITHER WAY. Your existence is nothing to the ravenous souls in 'The Vault,' they want you beyond dead, stopping at nothing to crush and destroy you, and you only. Despite they were once normal humans, they deserve no mercy nowadays, and that's it from what iv'e gathered so far, I might update this more soon, if not oh well GAMEPLAY AND AI BEHAVIOR: Of course, you have your average skulls, when severely injured and near the edges of the map, they'll swiftly fall back before doubling back to you, basically breaking themselves from their own horde, only to be shot once by you and become, well... dust. I won't talk about anything else enemy wise, but this game is much harder than KILLBUG There are no healthbars, no second lives, none of that. Once you get hit once, you die, your run is foiled and gone, giving you several options of what to do after. Something like settings, trying again or exiting to the main menu. There is also no music, just the sounds you hear, and let me tell you. It's a bit unsettling at first, but you'll manage at some point /.. ..\ \ w /....... < tiny skull I hope this gave you a good idea of the game without spoiling it. Love to everyone out there Stay blessed
