Follow our curator for similar games
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/ TD action + controller friendly - short = Elves swarm on screen as you try to bash them all before they get to you either by melee, throwing or special move. Has potential but only 25 levels and pvp.
For a first game, this isn't terrible. All of the mechanics work. There is, an albeit long-winded, story that is told through text. The fighting is OK. This is probably about $10 too expensive for the quality though. The textures are straight out of your favorite playstation 1 game. At a lower price, I might even give it a thumbs up. https://youtu.be/Hu-MEhSyppQ
My thoughts: Graphics: Post process effects and particles look neat and I like weather changes. Shalwend move animations are well done. Interface is cool and goes well with the theme. Elf appearance change when you progress through levels. Cutscenes animations could be improved but they are decent. Sound: The music is good and effects fit the game well. There is nice voice acting during gameplay and you can hear elves die =D I wish it had voice acting in cutscenes and maybe some more good tunes. Concept: This is the most interesting part of this game. If you pay attention to the story, it is a lot more fun. Characters are charming and the story fits the action properly. Dialogues can be funny and intriguing and you want to know what happens next. Elves are usually the good guys but not in this game. You might want to check it out. Gameplay: This is a challenging action game and you need to time your attacks well. You also have a Rage bar that lets you unleash powers based on your shield. You can block projectiles by having your shield in the right position. When the field is crowded with enemies, how you move and use every move at your disposal is critical. If you succeed, is satisfying, for sure. Your attacks can change depending on your distance to enemies, so that can be used tactically. Off course having more moves and scenarios could be appreciated, but is good enough for the scope of this game.
