The Sherlock Holmes series returns with this updated version of The Awakened, which brings a whole new dimension to the original title developed by Frogwares. The game puts the player into an investigation of the Cthulhu Mythos - as imagined by Father of modern horror, H.P. Lovecraft.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sherlock Holmes + Lovecraft simplemente una combinación perfecta.
I started playing this game many years ago, then lost my save so I took quite a long break lol. Played the remake (liked it a lot!) and then finally came back to this one after playing the silver earring. Obviously this is the remastered version, however, even still I think it improves a lot upon the silver earring. You have the option of point and click and first person/more modern controls. Neither are bad, but if you want a slower experience, play point and click, and if you want a more smooth, swift experience, try first person. I did a little of both but eventually stuck with first person. Even though I love point and click games, the areas are very vast and make the point and click and SLOW experience. Outside of this, I think the gameplay overall is a lot smoother compared to silver earring, and there are no timed puzzles (thank you). Holmes and Watson are still entertaining and their VAs are very good and capture the characters well. The story is also awesome, and despite having already played the remake I found the original still quite gripping because there are some striking differences. It's very interesting to see the differences between our Sherlocks in this compared to 2023 LMAO. Ultimately, I think this one is worth your time, even if you've played the remake.

a bit buggy, some puzzles werent clear on their resolutions and the parts that we had to type were kind of frustrating, but, it was still a good game, the mistery was good and the story was great
The chapter that's shown in the promotional art (a bayou in Louisiana) features what is possibly the most unintentionally ridiculous chase sequence in gaming history. The Louisiana level is a painfully shallow and stereotypical rendition of the American West; and for me was the horrifically sagging low-point of the game. Holmes and Watson's other travels outside London, including a visit to a mysterious institution in Switzerland, fare better in the game, and in general are more appropriate for a Sherlock Holmes story. If you liked "Call of Jaurez," "Return to Castle Wolfenstein," "Tomb Raider," or "Bioshock" but you wished these games had less violence and more puzzles, then "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened (Remastered)" is for you.
Much better entry than the previous games and much, much more entertaining than imaginary “duel of wits” with Arsen Lupin. In fact, this game is closest to being graded actually good (and my standards for such old titles are set accordingly). This time however I’m going to write longer review (that inevitably will be rewritten to be shorter, drier and more concise in a couple months). Technically speaking game works and has third-person and first-person cameras. Quality of graphics is on par with early 2000s titles. Holmes and Watson act close enough to their literary counterparts. In theory, players can finish entire game in a couple hours, unless they’re stuck on something or find mismatch between guides and game items or action sequences. Rather good improvement conpared to other titles in series... There are enough drawbacks too and while some are subjective, others are objective. For example oddly nauseating movement animation in first-person (no idea why to be honest) don’t make it the most enjoyable experience either, but may be fine otherwise. Gigantic almost empty environments requiring backtracking or investigation sequences where bets “research” tactic is random clicking are not that bad either (beats dungeons where you have to go back the same way you came in, literally). Instead of asking how to solve this puzzle and progress further, more frequent line of questioning was that of spending time on the game at all. Instead of feeling like uncovering a mystery that may or may not be actually important in-universe, this turns into an exercise in tedium where one part is too easy, another too hard and the third makes you ask “what the F is that and why???” You know what? I’m going to do the funny thing – recommend this title. Not that bad all things considered. Don’t wanna play anymore though.
jeu parfait tout est dit
Good Game for Nostalgia :3
an another Sherlock Holmes game, I liked it better than SH Nemesis. the visuals are nicer and story is darker, but the puzzles are a bit simpler
La trama e gli enigmi mi sono piaciuti molto. La grafica è quella del tempo, ma il gioco è rimasto godibile
