This game so far has been amazing!! The combat is definitely nothing to rave over, but the overall investigative gameplay is great! The story is also pretty compelling and I personally really like the characterization of Sherlock in this game. I plan to move to Awakened after playing this. There's enough going on atmospherically that you really can immerse yourself into that world. I also love that fact they don't hide prejudice within the victorian era, but to allow for more POC characters to be able to have a spotlight nonetheless. Highlighting the struggles of the people there and not erasing them. This is by no means a perfect game in my opinion, but it is 100% worth playing!!

Good game overall, alot of things to do for the price, but the graphics is blurry,and the voices of the npc is annoying and they use the same voice everytime and i wish they gave more hints on certain parts of the missions, such as "the digsite entrance" one, overall good game, could be better in graphics .

I really wanted to like this game. The idea of a fun game is there, but they took the idea of solving mysteries way too far. Everything in the game is a mystery. Who stole the jewel? Who murdered the countess? How do you study a scene? How to you follow a trail? How do you even unlock that trail so you can follow it? How do you know what to ask about? What do all these icons mean? How could they have thought this combat system is good? When playing this game I feel like the game's interface and mechanics are fighting me the whole way. Too much "here's what you do" and not enough "here's how to do it". Maybe a more thorough tutorial or--gasp!--even a manual would help. There's also a lot of the modern equivalent of pixel hunting--finding important points to interact with seems to rely too much on looking at something from just the right direction or distance. This could have been a very fun game, but as-is it's just a slog.
