Tower of the Dragon
The Black Dragon awakens, and the volcano erupts. By a twist of fate, shepherd Zoe and the magical wolf Kin find themselves in the ancient shepherd's temple where the Black Dragon is sealed. Despite their natural enmity, they must collaborate to venture deep into the heart of the volcano to the Tower of the Dragon, find a way to save their island, and make their escape.
Spirit of Sound
Within the ancient shepherd's temple, many mythical creatures dwell. Some assist Zoe and Kin on their journey, while others cunningly obstruct their path. Observing these creatures' traits and cleverly using their own abilities, players will experience an adventure of musical puzzle-solving and platform jumping.
Song of the Shepherds
In the temple, shepherd Zoe inherits the legacy of ancient musical magic, and the magical wolf Kin awakens the power of frost. Combining their abilities, they perform the Songs of the Shepherds, rescuing trapped music spirits, purifying the ancient shepherd's temple, and ultimately unveiling the sealed truths.

Completely unfinished... Softlocked multiple times and when I was playing through this with my friend, he did the voice acting live after hearing the intro cut-scene once (we had to restart due to a softlock), and he did an objectively better job than whoever did the voice acting here. Had to give up at the part where the characters enter the tower cuz the game wouldn't let us control one of the charactors. AGHHHHHHHH!! Also, the "continue button" doesnt work... 👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴👴

"Shepherds" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from University of Southern California in Southern California. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. This is an unusual 3D rendered top down co-op adventure puzzle game where the puzzles are solved with some musical gimmicks... But this isn't a full game, it's just a prototype for a game that was never, finished, never polished, massive breaking bugs never fixed, and the students thought it would be okay to dump this on Steam in an utterly broken and unfinished state anyway. How many times do we have to say this? Steam should not be a dumping ground for unfinished homework assignments! On the important subject of visuals, this features fairly low quality stylised/cartoony low poly 3D graphics. It comes across as the kind of thing you see on mobile phones and Nintendo games, which will deter a lot of PC gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and to be considered one of the best games on Steam, the graphics have to be some of the best on Steam. That's not happening here. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. You cannot play this without a console peasant children's toy. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. It would be unethical for students to try charge money for their homework assignments, so you don't have to pay any money for this. But you'd still have to spend your time downloading this, and "time is money", as they say. So much for the matter of pricing. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
This game is crap. It's an unfinished buggy mess that definitely led the people who made it to fail their final. If it got updated I would change this review, but knowing how student games usually go, this will most likely never get updated again. The one upside to the game is the music and the intro cutscene which are pretty good. My friend and I got softlocked multiple times, and the continue button didn't work, making us restart multiple times. We gave up on completing this mess of a game, and decided to move on to different ones, knowing that any other game has more soul to it, more polish, and more heart. Good luck to these developers on making a less crappy game in the future.
So, Its quite good and has a nice storyline... I just.... Its very buggy at some points.
jogo muto bem programao, me diverti a lot com meu amigo dems vrias risadas e choamos juntos, acho que sou gay por sinl. adrei o jogo recomento muito. ps: ao tem bugs e a qualidade da naracao é de outo mudno
As the description notes it is an unpolished experimental prototype. Despite some issues it was very fun to play through the short game and would make for a fun full-fledged game to play with a friend.
Took like 30 minutes to get it working, not for one second did we play without experiencing bugs. Had to stop when the wolf (me) glitched into the ground and got stuck in a loop of respawning and dying (ouchhhhhh). not very good but i did laugh
