A very nice and chill game! I really miss this type of old indie games. Would love if they added some basic options such as saving custom settings though.

"Veneficium: A witch's tale" is maybe a student project or something... it's a short third person platformer where you control a witch and do some puzzles/fetch quests and... yeah that's about it. There's a slew of bugs and control/collision issues that are unaddressed, but at least this isn't a 2D retro pixel RPG Maker asset flip. It's nice to see genuinely made games on Steam, and they shouldn't be as rare as they are! The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 30 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? This one scores a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.
8th and final batwing on level 2 was locked behind a beanstalk overlayed by a instant death box, probably triggered by attempting to jump down near that area earlier., Just do away with the needless death boxes entirely, let people jump down from things if they want to, it's not a big deal. Having invisible death barriers in a vertically connected level is unintuitive and annoying.
I really like the premise of this game. It is beautiful and interesting! I am just so upset that it is currently unplayable. I have encountered a bug where when you find the light orb in level two you can't get to the bat wing you need for Henrietta. If you climb the vine it kills you and says you died of gravity. I have encountered at least one random invisible wall that you can walk around so it is pretty useless, the camera is constantly getting blocked by things behind you so you can't see where you are going, and hit boxes aren't always consistent. A mini map would also be helpful but it isn't unplayable without one. The saves are also strange. I have put hours into this level trying to make it work and I will now lose all of my progress on this level that has been saved by the cauldrons. Please fix this beautiful game!
What a cute 3D platforming game, i like this.
Though the movement was a little bugged, it was fine overall. One of the quests was weird, with the items related to the quest appearing before the quest was given to you.
В целом, неплохо.
i REALLY WANTED TO TRY IT but the main menu doesn't let me do anything
