this game has promise but has some REALLY bad design choices. i was having fun (on the first level mind you) when a spell locked my sword in place, not being able to defend myself or attack i was hit repeatedly as i waited for the timer just to be locked again before the timer was up leading to my swiftly demise. i then give it another try and after beating the level you're put into some town and made to do some dumb wheel spin game to be able to ask about the 30 items in a guys chat to get info (there are 3 guys you can do this with). after asking a few questions your bar will ran out so its back to the spiny game. with next to no explanation wtf this is all about i can't get past this part. like does the bar need to be full to get good answers? because when its low i got nothing, and when does he stop giving good info, wtf?!? its like the dev went "whats the most tedious part of rpg's? i know talking to npc! i'll make that worse." if the game was cleaned up it would be a blase but not in its currant state and not just do to the items i talked about. p.s. you'll also notice there are no pictures in this games screenshots and that's because print screen does noting and f12 crashes the game.
Shattered God - Quest For The Divine Relic has a couple neat ideas, but fails in most aspects. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-_oBZsE5eQ This game is a mix between old school dungeon crawlers and RPGMaker style games. You walk around an overhead map until you enter combat, which is in a first person battle instance. The exploration is very simple on the overhead map, you wander around, trying to avoid enemies sometimes and open chests for items, equipment and usable bits. Your character moves very slowly when walking, while sprinting looks janky and shakes the screen in an unpleasant way. Enemies have a detection field of view that you can avoid, if not it's onto combat. The combat in the game is set in an instance that can be against one or multiple enemies, sometimes one at a time. It takes place in first person with you being required to swipe with your mouse across the screen for basic attacks and right clicking during certain moments in order to parry attacks coming your way. The combat is very basic and became boring after even the first three or four fights. The controls in the game are awful, extremely bad. You are forced to use nonsensical keys, including most of your F1 - F5 keys to do basic functions. It doesn't help that hitting F4 will just close the game entirely without saving, so you could accidentally lose your progress. There is no options menu in the game so you cannot rebind any of the controls. The game also only runs in one 4:3 resolution that you cannot change. It's 2017, why does this game run in 4:3? I ran into an instance right at the start of the game where I was testing the combat on a training dummy, but since the dummy is invincible (like most games) I could never complete the battle and as far as I could tell there is no way to exit a battle after it starts. I had to use that F4 key to close the game and start all over with character creation. The developer has made their own fantasy setting that weirdly straddles the line between serious and seemingly trying to offer some commentary I guess on women's/men's rights. I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate, but it seemed to be the case in the extremely long title crawl that talked about female gods, men not liking her or something and the word Meta as a name was thrown around a few times. The game looks and plays like a flash game you would find on NewGrounds.com five years ago. The artstyle is pretty ugly to look at and lacks imagination, like what someone would draw in high school. The art is inconsistant in quality, as is the dialogue in the game, which has frequent spelling and grammar mistakes. Overall, Shattered God - Quest For The Divine Relic should probably have a home on itch.io or a flash game website instead of being available on Steam. I was bored of it within the first few minutes and it just lacks enough polish or good game design to be entertaining for long. Classic that started it all.
受不了了这些东西都什么玩意.要不要这么垃圾
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbcOTwpqAqI&feature=youtu.be I can tell there is a lot of love poured into this game. I can see a bunch of fairly interesting ideas stitched together. I can also see a bunch of issues just in the first area. Tutorial is intrusive and not intuitive. Combat controls are strange, and poorly explained, especially the spell casting. Several CTD's on entering fighting space. Level design makes little sense. I felt like there are a bunch of paths placed there without thought as to why. I also don't understand why I can Zelda attack things but then have a final fantasy style combat section. Anyway, there might be something here if you are willing to overlook the many odd and buggy choices.
seems like a cool game. too bad that on my 2k monitor everything is too small, cant really play like that. enjoyed the stuff i could make out tho
I haven't played a lot of it but so far it is interesting I have played longer than stated by steam because I end up playing offline a lot. I seem to miss a lot of our hits but that could be because it takes getting used to the controls. Interesting concept as far as combat goes, I don't think I've played a game like it. I believe it will pick up speed with time, but I was a bit confused with the tutorial but I also am not the most attentive player. Check some gameplay for it and make your own decision. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRnLb3QI-yM
天猫喜加一的垃圾游戏,谁买谁上当。不要信喜加一有好游戏都是找的托骗人的!!!!!!
Jogo extremamente underrated. Uma pena que os nutelinha aqui dos comentários da steam não têm a sofisticação para desfrutar da grande joia escondida que é esse jogo.
看上去非常新颖玩法的RPG游戏 实际上就是一个操作复杂,内容空洞的无趣游戏
