SHAPESHOOTER is literally an on-rail shooter, you'll have to clear colonies across 4 planets from a little creatures infestation called polygoneers. But that's not important, you'll not get a story here. You'll get frenetic action, insane music and a super hard challenge!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

aight. this game is *almost* good, there are just a few problems that I cant overlook. first, no return to menu option. either you beat the level or you alt+f4. second, its way too claustrophobic. some corners are impossible to pass without taking damage, enemies will appear from the walls (guranteed damage if at the edge of map), and many obstacles like saws cannot be shot though but allow enemies to pass unharmed. third, the camera is centered on the tank. when the tank goes over any wobbly, blocky, or other intentionally curved track, the whole screen shakes with it, inducing headaches and making precise firing while moving impossible. and lastly, there exists a crash condition upon loading a checkpoint with the error for "unable to load the weapon wheel" that will ruin all your progress. hot tip: upgrade the machine gun and dont unlock new weapons. all ammo drops will then be just for the machine gun, meaning you can spray all day for superior firepower without juggling the various weapons and saves money for upgrading your health.

No me gusto
I hate to do this, but honestly, this game just doesn't do it for me. The controls are baffling, mapping the forward/backward movement to the Z/X keys. Not only is that just not a sensible place to put those actions, putting MOVE FORWARD on the LEFT MOST key is just utterly absurd. The gamepad controls would be nice, however the aiming function STICKS to the middle of the rail. This means if you want to aim slightly to the sides of the rail, you'll more often than not get yanked to the straight line your cart is on. Of course the options don't exist for this game in any meaningful way, so I couldn't turn off that snap-to-middle feature or remap the controls to something logical. The menus are also strange. Requiring the player to hold a button to confirm anything is already tedious, but it doesn't make it clear enough that's what's going on, the button just slightly gets darker/smaller. Just a bunch of quality of life problems mainly, but for a game so small, I would imagine this would be one of the things to focus on, since clear menus and control options exist in nearly every game at this point.
a lot of bugs and often crash
Bon petit jeu.
I got bored after half an hour of playing this. I also ran into some minor technical annoyances (mouse was not locked in the window, so I sometimes clicked outside of it), but that was a minor thing and if I had fun I would overlook it, but I had not.
This one's a tough call. The gameplay itself was enjoyable and addictive, but some design choices made it monotonous as you had to replay the same levels repeatedly to unlock new ones. This eventually dampened my enthusiasm, even though I had a genuine desire to keep playing. With some improvements in the design, it could have been a significantly better experience. Nevertheless, if you're seeking a laid-back game for your Steam Deck, you might still give it a shot.
