Shannon Tweed's Attack Of The Groupies

I'm not exactly a fan, but this game, in its simplicity, is surprizingly playable! Well, lower your expectations... there, right there! It's about that good. I can only imagine how much more I'd enjoy this purchase, if I were an actual fan! And that's mostly because of the extras that come with the game! It's sort of like when you get a DVD, you get extras. Yea, like that. Only it's just a few photos of Shannon, Gene and the family. But like I say, lower your expectations, and (especially) if you are a fan, you might actually enjoy this simple and yet amusing little thing. I give it a thumbs UP!

Tags: Casual - Tower Defense Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Repetitive. Padded out levels. Pixelated. Mobile UI with oversized buttons. Redundant with superior Plant VS Zombies. The whole Shannon Tweed fending off groupies that went to meet his husband is weak and does not feel credible. Her lines are related to the towers you use as defense but she uses them out of context and they play seemingly randomly and there is not enough variety in them. The pacing of the game is all off, with unlocks coming in way too slow which makes the game feel padded out. You can basically copy and paste the same tactic over and over. The enemy variety remains very low and new enemies are introduced very slowly as well. Difficulty is fairly low and as long as you spam enough money trees early on you will have more than enough money to cover defenses. Keeping the motivation to do so is the hard part. The user interface for upgrading plants is clunky and unwiedly, you will often save up and upgrade a bunch at once to avoid that. You can harvest money while the game is paused. The game does not have high resolution options and the overall polish of the visuals is somewhat lacking, disappointingly. The flavor text for the enemies in the encyclopedia is not as consistently humorous as Plants VS Zombies, it is very hit and miss. The music is insanely limited, loops way too much and renders the game unsufferable unless it is muted. The change in scenery when you beat 10 levels often does not introduce anything new to the actual levels The groupies that you make flee by frizzing their hair, making them stink, botching their makeup with water blocking them with bodyguards and the money tree are all conceptually interesting. However without even looking too close you can immediately think up of which plants from Plants vs Zombies each tower is mechanically copying, and it copies them almost exactly, in terms of duration, area of effect, cost and whatnot. Same thing with the enemy types although to slightly lesser extent I would say. Conclusion: If this had a lot more polish than it currently does and addressed all the previous issues I would probably be bale to live with the mechanics copying PvZ but as it stands this is an all around inferior version and the reskin does not shine enough in terms of flavor to even earn its place in the library. Disappointing

Obtuve este juego dentro de la compra de un bundle y es realmente malo por lo tremendamente repetitivo que es. Básicamente se trata de un juego tipo Plants vs Zombies pero infinitamente más aburrido y que en su momento sólo trató de aprovechar la fama de la actriz de películas bimbo Shannon Tweed. Francamente no vale la pena ni los bytes de vuestro disco duro dedicados a almacenarlo. Si no quieren lamentar aun el tiempo dedicado a instalarlo permanezcan lejos de este bodrio. Las horas que aparecen en mi registro fueron las que quedó encendida la computadora después de caer profundamente dormido.

It's fun for what it is. It's a Plants vs. Zombies ripoff about Shannon Tweed. I thought the premise was funny, and I got it for cheap as part of a bundle. For that price it was worth playing at work for a few hours

Shannon Tweed's Attack Of The Groupies è un gioco simile al famosissimo (e molto bello) Plant VS zombie. Purtroppo questo gioco è solo una pessima imitazione del già citato Piante Contro Zombi, i primi 2 o 3 livelli sono accettabili e il gioco sembra carino, ma già dopo il quarto livello si inizia a sentire la noia che sale, perché, si questo gioco è noioso, ripetitvo e troppo facile. Shannon Tweed's Attack Of The Groupies offre poca sfida, le armi da sbloccare sono poche, e vengono sbloccate troppo lentamente, e poi la colonna sonora, si parliamo di essa, in poche parole: 1 sola canzone, che ci accompagnerà nei livelli. Io questo gioco lo finirò, semplicemente per vedere tutti i livelli, e magari rivalutare leggermente la mia recensione. Ah comunque non comprate questo gioco, installatelo solamente se lo trovate gratis, non vale la pena spendere 5€ per un gioco con questi contenuti!
