Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

nah its not fun since the game has zero hand holding but also isnt as sandboxy as i thought it was, there are some very strong limitation that just prevent me from actually doing detective work, hard passs
Really cool concept but frankly, it runs like sh*t on solid hardware and has terrible controls. It doesn't look good enough to run this poorly, which honestly feels quite silly given the lofi aesthetic. The controls are like, shockingly terrible on a game controller or Steam Deck. Different keys are used for "use" or "close" at different times, e.g. sometimes to close a menu you press B, others Y, and yet others Start or Select. Run is toggled - yes toggled - on and off by- L2? What? The game is chock-full of bugs, from visual clipping to number pads closing when you press the 3rd digit (resetting when you back out and in). There is no autosave feature in the big 26? Graphic design and UI/UX design of menus are terrible. Can't recommend this game; it feels like it is in alpha.

This is the story of ♥♥♥♥ Sidewise, who despite his aspirations to solve murders and lock away the guilty, found himself living in the basement among the rank smells and the tiny rats. He found instead that he had a talent for navigating the ventilation shafts of the city, and lived like the rats - scrounging through the upper caste's cupboards and pawning their belongings to the local Pawn King. One night, as the Pawn King lay asleep, our unlikely class warrior crawled through the vents into the king's very bedroom, where a safe full of diamonds - the profits made purely from the toils of the lower castes had been locked away. In his hubris, the king used this own birth year as the combination for his jewels, and as he snored away blissful in his tower above the people now, his profits slipped away. The papers the next day would claim that the very fortunes that had been absconded, had 5 moments later been purchased anew at his very own shop! ♥♥♥♥ Sidewise grinned as he crushed out his cigarette, and placed in the ash tray, He tuned to the classified ads in the paper he had started reading that morning. Pleased, he noted an apartment for rent on the 3rd floor of the building across from his beloved pub. In the distance, echoes of thunder rumbled deeply, as the rain slowed and turned to snow
I don't support the non-binary character option, its offensive there are only males and females.
its a good game but took me 3h for the first case
no auto save
tried to solve a murder and then got lost in the vents , hopped out of a vent into a random apartment, shot dead within seconds. i am the next murder
If I had a crow for every broken job, bugged kidnapping, and bland murder case this game throws at you I'd already be happily retired in The Fields. Let me pull my pin board out and get to the details about this neglected [strike]thief[/strike] detective game.

The atmosphere is noir and can shine in places. Like literally cause there are lighting issues throughout certain areas in basements and reflective areas like business lobbies.
The bugs roaming around the apartments floors are a warning and not just set decor.
The concept of finding clues, tracking leads, and combing over crime scenes are there but rarely work out. Take your pick as it can be a bad procedural layout, bugged clue item, or the weird npc behaviors. At a point I just gave up and started kicking in doors, stealing everything not nailed down, and duking it out with whomever was living in the apartment I just broke into.
Wish the inventory system was better and yes I know you can get an upgrade with sync disks.
The environment feels dead and lifeless. The npc's are no exception. Beat up a guy while sneaking around his place only to have the poor stealth mechanics fail you? Well just run out of the building and come back later and they'll forget it ever happened! It kills the immersion.
The music is badly mediocre. Like I see what they were trying to do but it was executed poorly. Just turn of the music and put on a Noir playlist in the background.
Most murder or kidnapping cases I've had need to be reloaded or cheesed to complete them (both when the game came out and recently).
It's version 1.0 and feels like and early beta with the latest update being a meme one that doesn't fix anything...
On a positive... I love the diners and eatery's vibes and it can be nice to sit down and order a coffee while going over case notes. I gave this game another shot after taking a break for a year to see if things were updated and fixed but I can see this games dead on arrival. An awesome concept that was wasted by poor development...
