Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I am a big fan of the Shadowrun games, and I quite enjoyed this one as well. The story and worldbuilding was easily my favourite part of it, as tends to be the case with these games, and there are many scenes that are genuinely touching, chilling, hilarious, and thought-provoking. The characters have satisfying arcs and are written well and they all feel like people you could easily meet in real life (if you take away the fantastical setting). This is a narratively great game. The writing is great, but I have three complaints with the game. 1: The biggest issue. The game was far too easy and I almost never had to actually think about how to approach a fight. You have access to all these different characters with skills and abilities that are supposed to make combat more interesting and give you multiple options to approach each mission, but I always used the same characters and combat was always a breeze. Heck, the big bad final boss can be mind-controlled to use its big attacks on its own summoned creatures, completely trivialising the fight and erasing whatever stakes the story had built up. 2: Not a huge issue, but there are a surprising amount of spelling and grammar errors. I understand that in a game with so much text (dialogue, descriptions, and documents, etc), it can be difficult to catch all the mistakes, but it definitely took me out of the moment whenever it happened, and it did happen enough times for me to not just write it off as a simple oversight. It felt unpolished to me. 3: I could not bother playing the post-game campaign. After you beat the game you can load up your party in a separate campaign that happens after the events of the main game, and though they use some story hooks from the main game that were never fully explored to draw you into it, I simply did not feel motivated enough to play through it all. I still recommend this game, but I would definitely recommend Dragonfall over this entry in the series, and would only suggest that you come back to this one if you are itching for more Shadowrun because you like the setting. 6/10

A must buy if not for you then for the pizza you never bought your dog or cat or for the seed you never fed those always starving wild birds.
